I bought this food processor to hide vegetables so my granddaugher would eat balanced meals. This has already done so much more than just hide vegetables. It does an awesome job and the brand is so dependable, I never worry about Black and Decker. Shipping was prompt and pickup was without a hitch. I will definitely use Walmart online again in the future.

its a good buy for the price since food processors are expensive. This one does what it's supposed to at a low cost. it's durable and fast. the only bad thing is that when you want to shred cheese, it doesn't make perfect shreds of the cheese. instead, it makes it crumble. (maybe my cheese was a little too much room temp). other than that, i would recommend it to anyone!

Overall, a good product. But, NOT dishwasher safe. It warped in my dishwasher and now will not fit together properly now. It will cost $18 to replace the parts. I'm in the market for a new one.

Not a bad looking machine, however it sounds like a small helicopter flying around the kitchen! I guess you get what you pay for.

It does a wonderful job as a food processor and shredder, for pureeing and kneading dough (I haven't used the slicer option yet which is on the flipside of the shredder blade which is convenient, but I assume it works just as well.) If you're just looking for a cheap food processor with large capacity, this one is good.
The motor is VERY noisy, as loud or louder than my husband working with his high-tech power tools. It does have a B&D motor, so that could be expected. The side chute is a waste of space and time, a lot of food still gets past it into the food processor so you may as well use it regularly since it doesn't shoot out the food very far. The chute is non-removable so it gets in the way for storage and makes it very bulky. The plastic insert to block the chute can get lost easily, and without it, the processor can leak when used normally.
I'm currently seeking a replacement, even if it means more money. I simply don't have the space for something so cumbersome either on my counter or in my cabinets.

Black & Decker has always been a brand I rely on being durable, reliable, and functional. The processor is priced reasonably for this type of kitchen aid. I purchased it as a wedding gift and the bride was thrilled!!! She began using it the day she got home from her honeymoon and is using it everyday!!

I was in need of a food processor, and at the time, this one was the only one on the shelf (there were pallates in the store isle waiting to be unwrapped with unaccessable merchandise on them)...I thought I'd take the chance because of the low price....when I got it home, it was difficult to put together, and the lid is very hard to lock into place. It is made of plastic, so I'm expecting it to last for only a few uses before I break it trying to lock and unlock this lid...also, when grating carrots, cheese, it can only come out into another container, not into the processor unit, that only works for the blade attachment, and the way it comes out of that side chute, it doesn't all go into the bowl, but makes a mess on the counter...I tried to find a place online with Black and Decker to enter my disappointment with them, but there's no option for emails to the company... Oh well, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.....this one is not worth the cheap price.

It chops and purees great; however, when you puree liquids it leaks from the lid a lot even though I have the lid guard in place.
