i haven't given this to my son yet, so can't review its functionality, but i ordered this online because i think canon makes great cameras and he loves red (walmart doesn't sell the red one in stores). this is not a red camera like the nikon and sony are. it's a magenta/pink camera. very feminine looking. so i ended up getting the orange one they sell in the stores.

Great camera for the price. bought for early christmas gift. If it doesn't matter what color it is got to the store and buy it. only 10$ extra and you don't have to wait

It only has the LED screen as a view finder and that takes some getting used to.

I love this camera. It is so easy to use, and it takes great pictures!! I have a big Nikon camera (that I only use for my kids or special events) and I love, but I was looking to get one to leave in my purse to take with me everywhere. I love the Canon so much I find myself using it way more than I thought I would!!! And you cant beat the price. I am very happy and would recommend this to anyone!!
