Did not meet my expectations

I bought this as a gift for christmas. Once we plugged it in I was expecting for the speakers to be louder. I think it is an okay product but not really worth the price I got it for. This would definitely not be good for a big party because the speakers are not the good quality. I would recommend it for those people that dont like listening to music too loud.

This product never worked, it turns on but doesnt turn off, the slide for the cd player doesnt open or close and I am currently requesting a return slip.

Bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas. It worked great for a month, then the remote stopped working, the clock wouldn't hold time, and eventually all buttons on the front panel stopped working. Now this thing can only be turned on once a month. Complete junk.

Poorly mad speakers and hard to work remote!

I got this product because i wanted something that would charge and play my iPod Touch music. After it arrived I set it up it was pretty easy to work. Later I started to notice that when i played my iPod music the speakers made a lot of noises. Then when I would want to change the song or do anything with the remote it would restart the song! I am really disappointed in this product.

This is a great product for the price. For a small room or for portability, I heartily recommend this product. It is not the best sound system, but for entry level, small rooms, or for a portable system, this is the one for you!

Remote control from heck

The quality is great for the price. I enjoy using it, however, it's a little difficult to operate. First off, the remote control is so difficult to understand. I havent fully operated it because I had to step away from the directions for a while & come back at a later date. I cant even set the clock! It seems like an easy device to operate, but the little things like permanently setting radio channels as well as setting the clock are just CRAZY! Overall, it's serving it's purpose, but I just find that it takes a little longer figuring out HOW to do it.

System was exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for me in all respects and only one down side. When you up the bass, the sound gets a little tinny for my tastes. But...then again, it is a desktop radio. How much low end does one need for a player as small as this? You get what you pay for. Great buy and highly recommend.

I brought my radio a year ago, I took a change because the reviews on this radio wasnt excellent but I loved the idea of having a radio,cd player, ipod all in one so I got one I love it the remote is too small that the only problem but I'm going to buy another very soon.

Terrible Sound from this product

I got this as a present for Christmas and the first one had terrible speakers, scratchy and static. Then I traded it in for a new one and the second one might sound worse than the first. These speakers are so cheap they are definitely not worth what they cost!

Purchase item online, was pleased with the packaging and the speed of arrival. There was a problem though, one of the speakers had a rattle. It was impossible to use. I took the item to the store. Walmart did not carry the product in the store, so I was given a full refund. I purchased the exact same product again. This time both speakers work, and my daughter is happy. Sometimes a second chance is worth it.

Poorly made!

Sure, this system looks cool and really, it is lightweight... but that's partly because it's soooo poorly made! The speakers are way smaller than they look and for that they do not project a sound I expected from a $79 system (sure, not the highest end product, but I returned this one and got a comparable AudioVox system and it sounds AWESOME!!!)
My advice - don't buy. Like I said, there's a comparable AudioVox system (granted, a single disc player, but for my 9-year old I didn't need a multi-disc system) out there, that allows you to attach your iPod as well. It's heavier, but the speakers and the system are larger and all that plays into it's quality as well.
