Other than the weight of the table, it is very nice. Better than I expected. It was shipped to the store and I suggest that you rent a U-Haul like I did because it is HUGE. It was easy to put together and easy to level. I had two friends to set it up and it took them about an hour and a half to put it together. Only because of the union breaks. Otherwise, it would've been sooner. The table is sturdy and well built. I've been playing everyday since it arrived. You may want to buy extra cues. I only say this because I already had my own cue. I prefer a felt tip to a hard tip(which is what the tips are on the cues). Also, do not use the brush that comes with the table because the bristles come out of the brush and you will be picking them up off of the table. Everyone who has played on it thus far has enjoyed it immensely. Overall, it is well worth the money. I'd like to give the guys at Walmart a shout out for doing the heavy lifting. All four of them.

I've had this table for a little over two weeks now and it is everything I expected it to be. It looks great and it plays great. I cannot complain about the price either. Other than it being somewhat heavy (which I guess is expected) because it came in a single box I am really happy with it.

The shipping weight was given as 419 lb by the shipper. It came in a cardboard box, dimensions 92x53x10 inches, strapped to a wooden pallet; overall dimensions of the package as shipped was 100x60x15 inches. The delivery truck unloaded the package near the preferred outside door. After detaching from the pallet, opening the package, and tilting it up on one side, it was found that the leg assembly kits were in two boxes, strapped to the bottom of the playing surface. Removal of those boxes and elimination of the pallet and outside box bring the weight of the carriage and playing surface down by well over a hundred pounds. Two strong men lifted that big piece and carried it on edge through the door and placed it bottom side up on the floor for assembly. Assembling the two leg sections and attaching them to the carriage was straightforward. The same two men then flipped the assembled table onto its legs. As noted by others, there is a low-level but quite noticeable "new" smell, as though there were a pair of new auto tires sitting there. I presume this will fade over time.

Upon store pick up, I quickly realized that 2 people arent going to cut it, as far as bringing the boxed up table into my house. 1 night later with 7 buddies we lifted the 500 pound pool table and brought it inside. Overall, the table is built solid. The self levelers are nice. The felt is pretty low quality though and after 2 nights of playing on it, you can already see spots where the felt is wearing thin (think bald spots). Also, the pockets are sharp and made of plastic and the sticks that come with the table are very lightweight and cheap. Other than that though, the table looks great and seems to be of great value so far.

I won't repeat other reviews, other than to say the table is a great value. Definitely not slate, but for the price, no complaints.
Some notes:
- Play is decent. Was able to level it pretty easily. Surface is definitely a bit slower than slate. Cushions are good, but also a bit slow. But for my kids, who have never played on a slate table, they don't know better and love it. I can't tell you how well it will wear yet ... only had it a week.
- Assembly was very easy. You have to put the table legs together and then mount the legs onto the table top. Very easy. I did it myself in less than an hour. But you will need a couple extra hands once it's assembled to lift it upright. Instructions say to lay the table flat, upside down, during leg assembly. I kept it on its side during assembly, partly because I didn't know how we would get our hands underneath it to flip it when fully assemble upside down. Worked fine.
- The boxed table is definitely heavier than listed 308 pounds. I didn't weigh it, but it was difficult for four Walmart employess to load it on my truck, and even more difficult for three of us to get it off my truck and into my garage. It's heavy. I elected to unbox it in the garage, and separate the two boxes that contained the legs and accessories from the table before I moved it to the game room. The table top (fully assembled already# was still very heavy and hard for three of us to move. Box dimensions were 90 inches by 52 inches #ended up fitting very tightly between the wheel wells of my Silverado truck#.
Leg levelers are easy to use. I put them all on with even spacing during assembly, and the table required very little adjustment afterwards. However, the floor my table rests on is tile over concrete so it's pretty stable/level to start with. It's a little easier to slide the table across the tile floor - sometimes inadvertantly - than I had wished #not a lot of friction between the tile surface and leg levelers), but it also easy to move back in place. Works fine.
All in all, very satisfied. It's not slate, but it's a pretty decent substitute, and a lot cheaper.

Good looking pool table but sticker on top which should be put underneath so have to get sticker goo off of it. Very heavy, took 4 people to take it upstairs and stand it up after putting on legs. Easy assembly though. Had shipped to store, worked out best for us. They helped with getting it to truck, it weighs about 350-400 pds. We have enjoyed it and the blue is a nice med-dark blue, very nice. Would recommend it to everyone who wants a pool table in their home but on a budget and also great for a first pool table if you decide to upgrade later on after you see how maintaining it works out.

I read reviews for days looking for a good non-slate table and decided on this one. It is a very nice table for the money. Leveled better than I thought it would. The sticks that came with it were a little warped but I went out and bought others to use, only use the ones that came with it for breaking, and guests.Very heavy and sturdy, beautiful table. The description says it is black with tan rails, it is not black. I looked at other websites and it is the westmont table and was a lot more at other sites. If you want a good NON-SLATE table this is it. Had it shipped to the store and packageing and table was not damaged in any way. Description says 308 lbs I think, bot the box says shipping wgt is 426lbs i think. Very heavy! I am glad I chose this one, my wife and kids all love to play on it. I would buy again!

This is a great table... they only bummer was getting it to the upstairs location. It is very heavy and took 3 people to move and setup. Looks great and plays just like the ones in the local poolhall. One other note... the blue felt is really dark, almost looks like black; I was pleasantly suprised as I like the darker color. The picture shows a light blue.

I purchased this pool table as the center piece of a game room we were giving our boys (ages 8 and 10) for Christmas. The first one was delivered damaged, but Walmart came through with a replacement in time for Christmas and luckily it was not damaged. The box was a little beat up, but the table was in perfect condition.
When the boys saw it, it was a Merry Christmas indeed. We've played several games on the table and it works well although the felt sheds a little more than I thought it should, it's a great deal. The slate is level, it took about 2 hours to put together, 2 people, but it was very straight forward and easy (other than the shear weight of the thing) to assemble and level. We love it and hope to get years of family enjoyment out of it. It looks beautiful and feels really sturdy.

This pool table is great for the price. If you are looking for a pool table and you want it cheap, this is definitely the one to get. Assembly was pretty easy it took one person 2 hours to install. The only problem was the shipping. We shipped to the house and it arrived withing great time, but the box was severely damaged and a little bit of the pool table was as well (hardly noticeable). The pool table weighs close to 400 lbs so anticipate needing a lot of help to get it in your house and flipped over (once you build it). I've played many games on it and it has been great!

I just got it, and I've only played a few games on it, but it seems to be an excellent pool table. It comes with everything you need to play pool with two people. The bottoms of the legs can be slightly adjusted to level the table. I am very happy with this buy.
