The Therapure HEPA air purifier delivers the advantages of triple-action purification. The permanent HEPA-type filter takes out particles in the air for easier breathing. The UV light in the Therapure air purifier kills germs, and the Photo Catalyst filter takes out VOC fume,s which are found in paint and carpeting.

This product is actually pretty good for its price. We have four cats and two kids though, so I can't give it a great review as our living room still collects a lot of dust and little fur on our things. But when I go to clean it, you can definitely tell it is working as the filter is filthy! The UV germicidal light that you can turn on on the top of the Therapure is amazing!! Put it in any room that has a smell (one of our kids still has night time accidents) on medium or high and it really does wonders. No smell after a little while of running. Since we discovered that, we leave the UV light on at all times and just love the difference it makes. I do recommend this but if you have a lot of pets or kids maybe get one a little tougher.

I am very glad that I bought this Air Purifier. We recently got a dog and I wanted to keep the house smelling clean. It runs non-stop in the living room. Since it is upright, it doesn't take up too much room. The design is attractive. It is however a little noisy. When we aren't in the room we set it on high. We use a lower setting when we are in the room. My son complains that it blows cold air out. And I guess it does a little, but it doesn't bother me much. Its winter, the air is a little cool. It will be interesting to see how it feels in the summer.
Bottom line, it does a good job and I'm glad to have it.

I smoke like a chimney and although it does take awhile to clean the entire room, this air cleaner does a great job for what I put it through. I have a friend with COPD and she has noticed a remarkable difference in the air at my house and is now going to buy one (or two) of these for her place.
My only DISLIKE about it, is that air blows from the front, rather than the top, and the unit does not oscillate.
I intend on buying two more units for other areas of my home. It's nice to know replacement filters are available (read the card that comes with it for ordering info) even though it says you need to only vacuum them, but I do plan on stocking up on UV bulbs as some reviewers have mentioned they go out frequently. That's a small price to pay for a germ-free environment.
LOVE IT!

I purchased this from the store. The bulb continues to go out and there is no warranty on the bulb.
Customer Service will sell you the bulb but it is too expensive to keep replacing.. Do Not Buy this unless you want to have to keep replacing parts

I love this air purifier, i have 2 cats 1 dog,and my husband and i both smoke. I could tell a difference after the first night of running this, we dont wake up all stuffed up anymore.. I used to dust every 2-3 days and now i can go without dusting for over a week. I also love that the filters are washable and i dont have to worry about ever having to replace filters. I really like the uv light too. I run it 24/7. It is a little loud when running it on med or high but on low you cant tell its on at all. Great air purifier and very well worth the money

We bought one of these as we have two large dogs that stay in our bedroom at night. No matter how much we vacuum, there tends to be dander and a doggie smell. The first night that we used it we could see a difference in the air quality after only an hour. It seems to eliviate the smell and breathing while sleeping seems easier. We like the fact thatit has the optional UV to kill what may be in the air. The hum is soothing, after you get used to it ( just a night or two). The maintenance looks easy enough. We really think that it was a good purchase and hope that it continues to last for many years.

Had for 5 years and had no problems (except the UV light keeps going out). Easy to keep clean with just a simple vacuum, we only replaced the filter once in the past 5 years just because I broke the last one accidently. My husband has allergies and he has no problems breathing in the house anymore. Going to get another one for the downstairs.

I used this product continuously for 2 weeks and felt it didn't purify the air as well as expected. My Honeywell actually removes odors quickly with a fresh air button. Although this product had a button to turn on an infrared light that was supposed to eliminate germs and bacteria, I understood the filters were superior to other air cleaners and expected cooking odors to be filtered and dispersed as quickly as the Honeywell. I can't say it's a bad product just didn't do the job I through it would. Of course, just an easy return at the Walmart store although I ordered this product from Walmart.com.

So far I really like this purifier, the fan is a little louder on medium & high, but its tolerable. It hasnt been long enough to have to clean it yet so I'm not sure how easy that part is. I have noticed that I sleep alot better since I've been using it. Thinking about getting another one!
