Got this camera for x-mas 2 years ago and has ate battery after battery, been in the shop twice and now will not work again. Just not a good reliable product...

i got this camera a few months ago and it was pretty good. Now its not even close. The side fell off, but i can still use it and it makes a wierd sound when the camera is on picture mode. It is so annoying. The quailty is good as long as you dont zoom in too far or else you have to turn the camera off and back on for it to focus right.

Lens cover sticks,

Purchased the VPC-870 about two months ago. Now the lens cover doesn't work at all. From what I'm reading, I may be lucky as all of the lens functions work. I just can't get the lens cover to open or close. Another in a long line of mal-functions.

I hate this product it takes horrible pictures, videos, sound recordings, and action shots. The battery doesn't last but a day before dying. When you upload photos it puts so much junk on your computer. It has HORRIBLE zoom. I would never recomend this product to anyone.Irepeat ANYONE. Trust me, I have had this product for over a year and at $109.84 I would have rather bought wheat germ. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not believe what you read about this product. It is a cheap product and definitely is not worth the price you pay for it. Its warrantie is LIMITTED and it fails to work without any use. Fro time of purchase to time to use less than six months camera fails with "Lens error 12- lens not initial.." the shutter stucks open and camera will not take pictures. There is no technical support from SANYO othe than sending the camra for service (More $$$$) and it is not warrantie it will do the same. From a scale 1-10, 10 being the highest a will give it a 1 for estetic looks like a great deal but it is not do not waste your money

I wasn't sure if I liked this camera at first and almost took it back because I didn't think it took any better pictures than the one I had, but it is a great camera. It takes very nice distance pictures and has great tools. like fireworks, beach, and party settings. You can take black and white and crop pictures. It also takes videos and audios. Very nice camera, I just wish that it would take up less memory.

love it,does every thing and then some just aim and shoot,its a done deal,takes video's,and audio,don't have to worry about the battery and recharge its all there,its got everything for the serious person and guys like me who like it simple also-comes with a photoshop and a sg card slot-the buttons are big and clear and user friendly great deal for the money very happy lots of settings for the pro and auto settings for guys like me--very happy-big screen 2.5 inch can crop&chop right there--zoom in zoom out all the goodies

Very good quality for the price, maybe better. I love the large screen so it's easier to see. Not as much zoom on this one, but it does zoom pretty well. Bought one as a gift for my boyfriend. Overall a GREAT camera.
