I purchased the RCA bundle home theatre, OOPS. The RCA home theater conflicts with the televisoins remote, and vice versa. I looked up the programing numbers for both, and found that the home theater does not respond to either of the codes givin for it. In the end, the reciever is in the garbage, the tv is still frusterating being even my PS3 controller changes the channel. FRUSTRATED!. If you have no other tv, or anything that uses a wireless signal this purchase would be fine, otherwise you may want to reconsider.

Purchased this t.v back in October 08. We began having problems with television within the first 90 days. We can turn the t.v. on with the remote. you can hear the sound but there is no picture. You have to power the tv on and off a few times to get the picture to come in. I call RCA and was given the number to 2 authorized repair shops. The first place I called was totally unprofessional, the technician worked out of his home and although he was a RCA repair tech, he was also a construction worker. The tech would schedule an appointment with me to pick up my tv, and he would never show up nor would he call or answer his phone when I called him. The 2nd agent was much nicer and much more professional. After keeping my tv for 2 weeks claiming to not find a problem with my set, I picked it up on a Friday. The tv worked fine for 6 days and then the original problem came back!!! What am I suppose to do now. I purchased the extended warranty, but it does not seem to be worth it!!!

The TV is cheap, and works. Alright!
The cabinet just looks a little cheap, but is fairly sturdy. The picture is fine. I don't use the speakers. The VGA input does not support full 1080p resolution (1920x1080): it only support 720p.

Nice tv for the price, however the instruction manual and RCA call center support was terrible in getting this setup. But, I call WalMart and the local associate was extremely helpful for both the TV and the DVD player setup. Kudos to WalMart Boo to RCA support

I bought this TV with the surround sound off of the internet and had it sent to the store for my husband. When we got home, we unloaded the TV out of the box and realized that the hinge and the hinge cover was missing from it. We called Wal-Mart and they said that you can't just buy a hinge that we were either going to have to get another TV or return this one after we had already waited almost 2 weeks to get it. Needless to say we ended up spending an extra $170.00 on a TV stand where we could mount the TV on it, just because they didn't send us all of the parts. Other than that, the TV is great.

I purchased this product on Walmart.com about one month ago. To say the least, I am VERY pleased with this TV! I immediately connected my Comcast cable service to the TV and voila....I was up and running within minutes. I did have to call Comcast and have them "refresh" my HD-TV service....as the TV did not immediately recognize that it was connected to cable service. I am a technology consultant, but anyone will be able to figure this setup out.
The TV picture quality is GREAT! Love it...love it...love it!

I must admit I was on a serious budget when I bought this TV 7 months ago on sale. I was not sure what I was gonna have when I got it home. Straight to the point: I love this tv. I watch it every single day! My mom used to love watching my 1080p Mitsubishi. Now she never goes into the tv room at all anymore. The technicians in the store always recommend you subscribe to cable to get High Def. They fail to tell you that due to digital transition, you now have the capability to receive High Def right over the air with an antenna. I tried over the air and I got several channels in pure unfiltered Brilliant high def. I watch subscription tv with my direct tv box and keep my antenna connected to watch my local tv stations in uncompressed raw crisper HD right over the air! In a few months, I'm giving up subscription tv all together. This tv is great!!!!

After two days of use the color went out. The sound was great. Television was a bit bulky. In the end I took it back after 3 days. Went to sears and bout a Samsung that was larger and more sleek for 100 dollars more

Got this as a gift for Christmas '08, and I believe that for the money you can't beat this TV.
This makes a PERFECT master bedroom set. I have not tried calibrating it or adjusting the settings, but it looks good out of the box. For example, after watching my 58" plasma (which is stellar) it doesn't seem like a big step down going right to this RCA set. Only thing I KNOW that could be improved from calibrating would be energy consumption, because it puts out very noticeable heat as-is. Blu-ray doesn't look excellent on this, but it is nice -- a DVD player and HD cable channels will NOT let you down with this TV! Sound is so-so, but is just fine for our 14x15 bedroom. Fit-and-finish is great, really slim profile around the edges -- and it mounts on the wall great! No real experience with on a stand.
You won't regret this TV!

A great TV for the price. Very light, easy to find features and love the hook-up options; i.e. usb port etc. Haven't hooked up to high def channels yet but without viewing the high def., we are very pleased with the picture quality. Would highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I bought this TV to get with the times. We were still using a 28" or so box tv. THIS TV BLEW US AWAY, it has totally exceded our expectations. It has so many features and after hooking up some additional HMDI cables, the tv is beautiful. Also the size surprised us, it seemed so much bigger than we expected. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for an inexpensive TV with great quality.
