Nintendo Mario Kart with Wheel (Wii)
Mario Kart Wii features 16 new tracks, as well as 16 retro tracks from previous Mario Kart games. Dozens of characters from the Mushroom Kingdom are present, and each has his or her own collection of customized vehicles to race. For the first time in the Mario Kart series, racers can compete on either motorbikes or karts as they find shortcuts, grab power-ups and take down other racers in a frantic free-for-all. Mario Kart Wii comes packaged with the Wii Wheel steering wheel accessory that houses the Wii Remote controller and lets players steer just as though they were driving a real car. Four people can compete on a single Wii system, or up to 12 people near or far can race and battle via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Nintendo's online gaming service.

I have always loved playing the Mario games. This one was no exception. I like how all of the crazy courses keep me busy. Instead of using the wheel that came with the game, I use the classic controller so that I can control my character better. It's great to play with friends or family. It also has online racing feature so you can race against people from anywhere.

Bought this for my 11 year old grand son-he absolutely loves it- if he could he would play it 24/7. I felt it was a little over priced but it does give him extreme pleasure so in the end it was worth every penny;)

I purchased this as a gift for our son and he loves this game. He is a huge Mario Kart Fan dating back to the N64 days. This new version is more challenging for him with the addition of the motion steering wheel. the Characters also make the game interesting as they exhibit appropriate emotions and gesturing and challenging the player. It is fun to watch. The game has a bit of learning curve to adapt to the new wheel control, but offers many hours of fun. I would highly recommend this game.

Let's start off by saying that it does seem a little different using the wheel with the Wii but overall, it seems like it's the same MarioKart I played on Super Nintendo as a kid and on N64 also. It's kind of like a beefed up version with better graphics than we had back then. I bought this for my kids and ended up playing it with them and showing them how to play. They got mad when I kept beating them, they said I cheat! LOL. How could you possibly cheat on MarioKart?!?! It's a great game for family fun and is really easy to pick up how to play it. My 4 year old son is even learning. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who is looking for a great family game.

I had to make a special 30 minute drive to pick up the game at the store. When our granddaughter opened it for Christmas, the wheel was inside, but, no game. I had to return the item to the store (another 30 minute drive). I had to go elsewhere to purchase, because they did not have the game .

I purchased this game for my Grandkids for x-mas.
It's much like the old Super Nintendo Mario Cart only more modern, updated with more options and character options.
You can choose different characters to race and choose either a car or motor bike. You can choose a track to race on or go into battle mode against another player.
They still have bananas that you can leave on the track to whipe out the racers behind you. The other racers can now throw squid ink at you which partially blocks your veiwing screen for a short period so whatch out!
It takes a little practice getting used to the controller functions, such as using breaks etc.
This game came with one steering wheel so I purchased an extra wheel to go with this package so both Grandkids could play together.
Kids as well as adults will like this game. My Grandkids love it!

I'm biased because I love anything mario bros. but this was fun. My kids won't stop playing this, which is a good thing....I get some me time!!! We all enjoy racing each other and can't say anything bad about it.

Ordered the game online at the online price and picked it up at a local Walmart. It was easy, quick and cost effective. My kids have Mario Kart on gamecube, and DS but the say the Wii is different and they love playing it. Hours of entertainment. One of their favorite games.
