This camera literally fits in the palm of your hand - It is easy to operate - It has the capability of taking still pictures while recording video at the same time. I read the reviews posted here and that was a large factor in convincing me to buy this camera. When I got it, the size was exactly what I wanted. Other than that, there wasn't too much I was happy about. Maybe it is just the particular camera that I received...but the pictures are not very clear and most are very grainy looking. I have even sat the camera on a table to prevent any instability that might have caused the blurry look to the still pictures and even that did not help too much. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the quality and clarity of both the still pictures and the video. I have read the manual and have tried the suggestions to correcting the problems...but it doesn't help. I am going to take this particular camera back to my local store and see if I can exchange it for another that might work better. I would like to be able to get the same camera if another one will work better.

Great quality pics. I took some driving down the road and they r perfectly clear. No blur whatsoever. Very easy product to use.

I have had this camcorder since April of 2008. I have only used it a few times. Now, it doesn't work. I press the menu button and the menu does NOT come up. You can take photos and store on an SD Card, but not video. Formatting the card even caused me problems. I called JVC and the camera will have to get looked at. Thank god I got the 2 year service plan for it! If you want a camcorder, JVC is great, but make sure you get the GZ-MS100, if you want to take video and store it on an SD Card.

I purchased this camera so I could take close up video of model lighting products to upload to YouTube. The cmera works great, and the SD card slot is cool too so that you can take stills as well. I have had no problems loading video or stills to my computer, the carmera comes with a USB cable, you will need to buy the cable to upload videos yourself. So far so good with this compact easy to use camera.

I think this camcorder is great for me to capture all the moments in my son life. Its great for any gender. its small and does not take up much room. It takes pics also!!!! LOVE IT!!!!! I'm very happy i purchase this camcorder and I suggest you do the same.

I bought this just hours before our first trip to Disney. All I had to do it is pop in the tape and SD card and go. STILL PICS are GREAT!! Sound is great, color crisp, i can rewind and re-record in seconds, battery lasts up to 2hrs if recording non stop. At one point I didnt have to charge for the next day. Easy hook up to the tv to watch videos. Still pics cannot crop but can still print in 4x6, 5x7, 8x10. depending where to get them printed. I use Kodak. CAN ZOOM IN & OUT to take clear pics and record. Easy hook up with cords to the computer to download pics if no SD card hook up on computer. Very lightweight, easy to carry around, fits in palm of hand. Cant think of anything else. Havent really read the manual or fooled around with it. BUT GOOD BUY!!

I have only had this for 14 days and I love it. The picture is very clear and crisp. The sound is great. It took amazing video of the fireworks display on July 4th. And, my favorite thing is being able to simultaneously take pictures and video at the same time. Of course the pictures aren't top quality, but they are very impressive. Even more so considering the fact that in the time it would take you to switch to a still camera, you could have continued shooting video and taken several pictures. And, again, they are good pictures. I have a 1 GB card in mine and it says it will hold over 6000 pictures on it.The battery life so far has been very good. I did a lot of research before hand and I am so glad I choose this one. I highly recommend it.
