Loved this feel-good movie, even though it is a predictable, fairy-tale story. Done beautifully, and I recommend it for family movie night because there is not anything too bad for kids--(a couple of small things that will probably go over most of their heads). A wonderful reminder and inspiration to all musicians of why we play music. There are a few editing inconsistencies that really only musicians will notice, but it is still a wonderful movie!! We watched it over and over again the first several days we got it. AGAIN, we LOVED LOVED LOVED it!

The day I first saw this movie, I watched it four times. At first, I couldn't believe when it ended that it was really over. Then I got into the soundtrack which is really the best in recent memory. Jonathan Rhys Meyers is amazing as the unknowing father, Louis, and amazing lead singer of his band, loosely fashioned after U2; Keri Russell gives a fantastic performance as Lyla, a prodigy cellist who thinks her child was lost after she was hit by a car during her pregnancy. The way the stories meld together to a magical end is classic fantasy at its best. A great family movie; I recommend it at every opportunity!

This is a great family movie about hopes and dreams and never giving up. Great love story too. This is the best family movie I've seen in a long time. I wasn't too thrilled about watching it but once the movie started, I was glued from start to finish.

This has one of the most inspirational movies i've ever seen. Freddie Highmore is a amazing actor an has some pretty good skills. Now I have to buy two one for me another for my music class!!!!!!

this was a great movie!!! if your into music, then you will love this movie! if your not into music, then this movie will make you love music!!!! i'm serious!!! it has a great morol and it "stirs up soo many emotions" happy,sad,scared, and lots of stuff. i know i sound stupid- but this movie is awesome!
