All cables work - BUT the longest one of 24 inches just barelay makes it around the pc unit. The two 12 inch cables are not useable with my set-up.
This would be a way better extension for the Flip video if the package would contain one 36 inch cable and one 12 inch cable. There is no need for two "shorties".

These art the "official" Flip USB cords. I like the idea of having cords, because I don't feel comfortable letting the arm of the camera shoulder the weight of the camera when using on a desk top.
I probably would not have bought these had it not been to accessorize my daughter's pink flip. I think you can get USB chords cheaper than this, in fact, I already had some laying around, but who am I to dash the dreams of an 11 year old.
The chords came as expected except on was a little too tight on the first try. It seems to be working better with multiple tries.

Comes in handy when you are connected between HD Camcorder to your computer. The cable prevents the camera from accidental breaking the USB port of the camera or the computer..

I chose this item as 1 of the 2 free items when purchasing the Flip Mino video camera online. It has come in handy with the computers that I use because of the angle that I have to plug in the camera. I found it difficult at first to connect the extension to the video camera. I didn't want to break the camera the first day I received it, so it took me a while to get the extension to connect. Connecting it to the computers was a piece of cake though. I would recommend the extension cables for those who have to plug into the USB port at a different angle.

I can't tell you in words how great these little cables are, but I will try. They add flexability to charging & uploading your Flip digital. It's much safer & easier to use the extenders. I wouldn't buy one without the other. I got lucky and got these as a bundle. But even if I had't I would have bought them anyway. Please save yourself a headache & buy them also. You will not be sorry :)

Very handy and almost a must. Works great so you can set the camera on the table instead of letting it hang out of the USB port. Also great if your USB port is not easily accesible. Allows you to move the camera out of the way when it's plugged into the computer.
