Oh my I love this Austen version the way it really captures the relationship between Elinor & Edward. The other version did not hone in on the details of the ever-building attraction and love between the two. And how different the dimeanor of Willoboughy (sorry wrong spelling) is from the other movie. In Short WHoooaaa.

This is the perfect gift for Jane Austin purists. The price is the lowest I've found for a new purchase. I recommend this dvd for yourself or as a gift to your loved ones.

This is my favorite version of Sense and Sensibilty. The actors are extremely talented...especially the actor who protrays Col. Brandon. This one is definately a keeper!

I really liked this version of Sense and Sensibility, it went along with the book better than the last one that was made. If it wasn't for the first scene where a teenager is being seduced I would have given it five stars. Not a family friendly movie due to the first scene.

Although I enjoyed the overall affect of Ang Lee’s version of Sense & Sensibility; this BBC Masterpiece Version captures the real heartache of the story. The culmination of the relationship between Marianne and Colonel Brandon at the end felt more natural then just happenstance. Most of the young men in the story are really good looking; and there's nothing wrong with a great story and a little eye candy.
