I purchased this for my sister for her birthday. I have not seen it in action as she lives in another state. She has told me that it's "really" cool and that she loves it. She likes to turn off all the other lights and just has the Starship Light going at night while she is outside relaxing in the pool.

I purchased the light for our 16x32 pool. It did not show the great light show like what is pictured on the cover. The colors were bearly visible underwater.
Not worth the money.

It stopped some of it functions after one week. Difficulty accessing batteries to change. It takes 6 batteries which is not included. It was VERY COOL the first day or so, and then that was it.
I wish I could get my money back.

its a good product, but for the average size pool its just not bright enough. IF you really want a party you need like 2 or 3 of them, also if you place it upside down in a room it makes cool patterns on the ceiling;)

I purchased 2 figuring they would illuminate more light for a 16' x 32' pool. Well they worked, however very poorly, as the light only was about 4 ft in diamter & they claim it would cover about 15 ft diameter, thus 2 lights?
I belief either for a hot tub a a small pool they may illuminate much better. They also could be used in the house as some type of Disco light for that next 70's party!
If considering for a medium to large pool don't do it!

This product makes for a fun conversation piece at outdoor parties. The colors didn't show up as well as I hoped, prob because the bottom of our pool is very dark. It does have some really cool light shows. Just don't let the kids swim in the pool while it's on or it will ruin the batteries!

Last year we added a pool heater to our 18 x 48" above ground which we've enjoyed far into the night. Aside from Tiki torches, we wanted somthing a bit more colorful and this booger does the trick. 10 different light shows or cycle through them all. It lights our pool very well and may work on even wider/ deeper pools. Only for night swimming! IN the daylight you cannot even notice it being turned on but from dusk till dawn it will add ambience to your pool experience.Would also work well with small ponds.

Overall it seemed to be everything it claimed to be, except for one thing.
It is described as an "UNDERWATER" Light, but under the "Important" notice it says....."do not SUBMERGE light as it may damage it".
That kind of contradicts the name of the light which is "UNDERWATER LIGHT STARSHIP".
Confusing, would you not agree????
