I have been wanting a hose reel for a long time but they are kind of expensive so I have been holding off. I don't like the crank kind because they are so hard bring the hose back in. With the flip of a button, this quickly reels the hose back in. You will need to use your hand or foot to guide the hose back and forth so that it wraps around the reel evenly. But it does do what it says it will and it sure beats the alternative of cranking it up yourself. SmartReel does make these for bigger hoses, too.

I recently purchased this hose reel at a WalMart store and am very impressed with it. It works as advertised. You do have to assist with the rewind to keep it even. The top bar that washes off the hose as it winds in is great. No mud or grass clippings left on the hose. I like this so much I purchased a 100ft model from another retailer, since WalMart only carries the 75ft model.

I find this product very useful in keeping my water hoses in one spot and not spread out all over the yard. It makes it much easier to use the hoses in that I can unreel the amount I need for a specific job, whether it be washing the truck or watering the plants. It is very useful in helping to keep kinks out of the hose as well. And when you're done using the hose just flip the switch and it rolls back into place. The only draw back that I found is that it doesn't have a hose guide, so it's neccessary to guide the hose back in by hand.
