I bought this table to help with some pain and nerve inflammation problems I'm having due to a bulging disk in my neck. This table is built well and will support up to 300lbs. It's easy to put together with just the tools supplied in the hardware package, but if you have metric sockets and wrenches, use those instead. It took me about an hour to assemble all the parts and pieces. Also it's on the heavy side, so if you are in a little pain or have trouble handling bulky boxes by yourself, get some help unloading this when you bring it home. I haven't used it enough to know if it will help my situation, but I can say I feel a little better after each use.

If you know what these tables are for and how to use them there is no problem. Assembly directions could be a little better. Would I buy another one like this in the future.... Yes. Using the table has helped my bad back and circulation in my lower legs.

My husband loves this Inversion Table. This is the only one we have ever purchased. He uses it twice a day. He says his back feels so much better since he started using it. Like so many people he has lower back problems, he says this inversion table has greatly reduced his back pain and he says it is well worth the money.

Excellent, except...

This table is very stable and well built. One of the main things I looked for in deciding which table to buy was the design of the ankle cuffs. This one has a great design, with cups on the front and back of the leg, and a unique open and close mechanism on a gear ( which I love). Unfortunately, the foot rest seems to be too far from the ankle cuffs, so I slip 2-3 inches when I invert, changing the center of gravity, and making it impessible to rotate without pulling myself up using the handle bars. I tried several different shoes, and many different settings, and could not make it work. I will have to return it.

I waited quite a while to make this purchase. I kept going back and forth between the 3000 and 4000. I decided since it was a gift card I was spending, I would go for the 4000. It looked to me on the product description and reviews that they were very similar except for maybe the lumbar pillow. If that truly is the only difference, it's not worth the extra money. You could do the same thing with a rolled up towel or something. The product itself works great. I haven't had it that long (about a week and a half), but I am already starting to feel a difference. Most reviews I read said it takes a good couple weeks of consistent use to feel a significant difference. Also, I found that the ankle grips are a little more comfortable with shoes off. You just have to experiment to see what works best for you.
With that being said about the product itself, I was VERY disappointed in the condition of the packaging when the product arrived at the store. It was severely mangled in two different places and I was concerned what I was going to find when I opened it. I almost left it at the store and had them order a new one, but since I had waited so long, I took it home anyway. Fortunately, the product was fine except for a small plastic piece that was not essential to the functionality.

Hi, I usually don't write reviews but after getting this product I feel it's a must. I researched for the best quality/best priced inversion table and ended up with this. When I got this home I had it put together in about 45 minutes and it was really simply put together. I had back surgery about a year ago and am in tremendous pain most of the time and thought I would try one of these to get a little relief. After getting this together I got on it and it is extremely sturdy. I weigh in right at 370# ( I know that exceeds the weight rating of this product but It holds me up just fine. Anyway I would recommend this inversion table to anyone that is in need of one that's very sturdy and reliable at a good price.

It takes some time getting used to, but it seams to work on helping my back pain. It's not a overnight fix. It is new to me only three weeks, but three times a day for about two to four min is all it takes. GO SLOW YOU WILL GET DISSY. I hope this can help you. Go to Youtube to see how to use correctly. I did and it helped.

great for relieving back aches

while I have had much success with alleviating my back pain there has been two small annoyances with this purchase. On my first attempt of inversion the knob on the foot locking handle broke in half. although every things stills works it was somewhat a let down. also the adjustment for how far you inverse does not seem to do much and is extremely difficult to change. I found that by shortening the safety strap and adjusting the height bar I could obtain the proper action.

I had been wanting to try decompression for lower back pain. So many products! I looked at the Teeter line but felt that they were a little pricey. I didn't want to spend a lot, but didn't want a cheapo regret either. This product was a perfect fit! I am a large man, and it is sturdy enough for me at 260 lbs. It is comfortable while you are inverting, and can go completely 180. I have not done that yet, but wanted to have the ability when I'm ready. The best news...it WORKS for decreasing the pain!!!! thank God for this technology, my life is greatly improved and I've only been doing it a few weeks. It provides a lot of security in that I don't worry I'll crash on my head from a cheap device. Great job IRON MAN!!!!

I am 6' 3" and weigh 350lbs. This is the only inversion table rated for my size I could find. Was skeptical at first, but for $200.00 I thought I would give it a try. It's half the price of the one advertised on the infomercial by another brand. I am very pleased with my purchase and use it twice daily. My 5'4" 120lb wife uses it too and it takes about 5 seconds to adjust between our heights.

I've been in Construction for 22 yrs and teach martial arts for over 30. 21 yrsago I fell 16 feet was very bad off. had gravity boots then that helped, wished I had a table insted. Now at 45 I have waited too long I should have gotten this table yrs ago. I am picky so when I say this table is sturdy and well built I mean it. now for the results. I have an injury of a collapsed disk with a vertabrate that is shifted, and artheritis thats getting worse. less than 1/8 clearance almost completly pinched off disk. feels like softball in armpit and extreme pain in left arm. plus a torn scapula. been this way for a month. Now' after one week almost 90% better. My dextarity and strength is coming back in my left hand and arm. no more ball in armpit feel. no more chest and back pains. I still overdo it at work and class and can feel the injury coming on again / but this table was a wise investment I just should have done it years ago. I feel that this summer is going to be a healthier summer and partial / ok a lot of thanks is due to the Ironman table. I am excited to see how I will feel in a couple more weeks. and even further on. Was easy to assemble. make sure before you buy consult with a GOOD chiropractor Ive been with mine for 16 yrs and she is good. and your doctor to make sure this is right for you. If you are a typical guy or gal that works hard then treat yourself to some new found rejuvination.

This is my second inversion table First of this kind. Easy to put together. Substantially built. Awesome value. Works best if you set it 2 inches taller than you are. Comfortable for beginners who feel secure because the product is so sturdy, substantial and easy to use. I would improve the ankle supports a little but can't complain about anything to do with this product. My back and head feel so much better!

I am 76 years old and have had a pair of gravity boots which clamp onto your ankles which I purchased in Pasadena, Ca. in the early seventies. They enabled one to hang upside down from a chin bar. They allowed you to twist from side to side and perform hanging sit-ups. The hard part is getting back hold of the chin bar. I now have to use a knotted rope to pull myself back up.
I've known of the inversion tables for years but thought they may be too flimsy for long use. A couple of weeks ago I ordered the Ironman 4000, knowing that if I didn't like it Wal-Mart would let me return it. I was pleasantly surprised. This thing is REALLY HEAVY DUTY. It is extremely well engineered and strongly constructed with quality material. I put it together myself. It was more difficult for me to get the pieces out of the blister packs and following the directions than the assembly was. Once assembled, I gave it a test run. And after minor adjustments, I am extremely satisfied. I have it in my bedroom and am using it morning and night. I haven't compared this machine with any other, but for me, this is an impressive machine.

Great product, great value, easy assembly with tools provided. Fast shipping from Walmart.com. site to store was FREE shipping. Inversion therapy is incredible, take your time on working up to 180 degrees though. Relax, breathe, enjoy the benefits! You will feel taller, walk straighter, less or possibly eliminate back pain. Me and my wife each use this twice a day for 10 to 15 minutes. Product is built well. Comfotable too. This is not the cheap junk other companies have out there.
