We bought two of these to enclose the carpeted area of our livingroom.. I love the flexibility you have with these, as they can provide different angles and they are explandable/collapsable for whatever length you need. We can adjust them as our babyproofing needs change. They were simple to install and they are holding up great so far.

All the other reviews were correct, it works well and is very adaptable to different areas
Two complaints. first, it is difficult to operate with one hand, you must slide the thumb lever and lift the gate at the same time. I fixed that by taping a little item in the lever area to keep it open, so now we just lift and swing to open. Kids could figure that out and escape, but our dog can't... :) Second, because of the "feet" that support the middle, it doesn't do very well if you have a height difference in the floor right in the opening where you want the gate. We go from vinyl to carpet so it is not very stable, if the area is level it is very sturdy.

I have had this gate for over a year. It is permananelty fixed between my kitchen and living room. It has stood up to a 2 year old and 1 year old. everytime I have friends with kids that see this gate they always say, I need a gate like that. Its worth the money.

pros...easy to install, nice color, toddler cant climb over (yet)
cons...im worried if my 18 month old is going to be able to rip the stitching, if he does he will get right through....also this is pretty pricey.
there isnt much to choose from out there so overall this one isnt bad..i would recommend it.

We bought this gate after a lot of research. It's works well to keep our toddler in our childproofed areas. The latch is easy enough for our 4.5 year old to figure out so that he can go to the bathroom or his bedroom by himself (without us having to open the latch every time). It's pricey but worth it. Set up is super simple.

I bought this gate a year ago and first off it was fine, it kept the kids out. Than the hardware (plastic) that kept the swinging door on cracked. Then another mechanism on the swinging door broke and my husband fixed that. Then my son at 22mo started climbing the gate. It works of you are using it for pets and kids who don't climb, but for boys...NO!!!

I found the product easy to install and I was so excited for about a week. Now the door no longer latches properly and one of the plastic wall supports has broken. My 11 month old also climbs on the pieces that connect the door to the side piece and can escape (granted she is a monkey). Very disappointing I was so excited to find a gate large enough to fill our large open floor plan, and now I am back to the drawing board, this one just didn't stand up. I am still trying to find the warranty information. Not worth the price we paid.

I waited to install this product because I wanted my husband to help with the wall mountings. I didn't realize the gate had such nice sturdy base stands. We didn't even have to use the wall mounting. Of course depending on age of kids and tempermant others of you may not find this system as sturdy but it's working great for our 16 month old twins. The picture you see on the item purchase is almost like our setup except we have another doorway to the left. This system extended fully blocks both entryways if angled slightly.

We bought this gate for a wide space between our kitchen and living room and it has been perfect for what we needed. It would match just about any decor and is very well made and sturdy. The door latches very easily and swings both ways. I would definately buy it again.

This gate was exactly what we were looking for. The smaller gates were o.k. till our son started climbing out of his crib. Our room is up stairs & there is no door since it's the entire 2nd floor, the layout made standard gates ineffective @ blocking off the stairs. We spent many nights sleeping with "one eye open" until we found this safety gate. The set up was pretty simple once we found a stud to attach it to & the template it came with made the drilling a no-brainer. The walk-through gate is a welcomed feature too, no more hurdles to climb!!

After reading several reviews, this gate had the best review in my opinion. Unfortunately its cost might turn you away. However, I'm glad I purchased it. It keeps my dogs in the kitchen, and my daughter out of the kitchen. The gate is easy to install, durable, and worth the money. It does say it comes in white, but mine came in a light brown. I'm actually going to buy a second for my entertainment system. Hope this might shorten your pick.

I bought this gate and i love it. It is a must have if you have children or pets and need to keep them contained in a certain area. I love the gate for the following reasons: the walk thru door on the gate is very simple to use you can do it with one hand if you have your hands full, the number one reason is that it is wide enough for the walk thru between my living room and kitchen with out having to buy any additional stuff, and that you can use it with all three pieces or just the two big pieces . It also got my seal of approval on being sturdy my two 16 month old twins have given it a constant work over since we got it and it has held up with no problems. I love this gate and would recommend for any one who needs a very wide ajustable gate!!It is worth the money!!!!

My husband assembled a nicely-sized play area for our 13-month old using two panels. Our daughter has plenty of room to walk around and play and I no longer have to worry that she is going to tip over her pack and play. This gate system is perfect because it provides the option of either hardware mounting or free-standing (provided you use more than one panel). The gate system is very sturdy and I definitely recommend it without reservation.

Excellent baby gate! I have two boys who love to run around and bang their toys into it and its holdin up great! Also they give you a paper thats marked and you put it on the wall and it tells you were to put the screws so you don't mess up which is very nice tool to have. I'm very pleased with this gate.

when i opened it it was dirty and had some snags in the mesh. it is streched to the fullest and withstands a good amount of pressure...holds up great! but i bought this to keep my 18mo old in one area but he can open the door on it and get out ... i had to rig a lock on it.... that just makes it that much more difficult for me to open it. there is also a bottom piece that clamps the bar going across when you close it... that can be a pain trying to get it to close all the way... so i had to break one side of it and that made it a lot better.
