This looked like it would be a good idea for an outdoor play yard for a small dog, however, when I tried to set it up, there was no flexibility in the panel movement: The hinges did not work properly and I was never able to shape it into an octagon. It was extremely difficult to even take it back to "flat" to put it back into its box. Unfortunately I had to return it.

Have a litter of 9 adorable puppies, and this is my third Superyard - I use them outside and inside, and they work perfectly for various size areas as needed. You can definitely hook more than the extra 2 panel piece that's sold separately - I have joined 2 together to make a large pen for when the pups are small. Very versatile, easy to use, clean, and store - but invest in the gate that is also sold separately - it makes all the difference in the world when dealing with multiple puppies...easy to get in and out! Perfect - recommend highly for breeders or just someone with a puppy.

I bought this for my small dog, but I have used it for my bantam chicken that as just hatched 3 biddies. The biddies are almost too small for the playard, but it allowed the freedom for the mother and 3 biddies to be away from the other chickens. I already know that I will be using it for more than my dog.

Does the excellent job of containing your little ones while feeling comfortable knowing they cannot give into trouble. LOL
the only negative if there is one to say would be that when folding & unfolding each panel can be hard/stuck, almost to the point where you feel you're going to break something.

Walmart had a cheaper price on this product with free shipping to my home. This product was exactly what we were looking for to keep our new puppy in a confined area. We took sections of 2 and that worked great to protect 2 door ways. I would strongly suggest this product if this is what you are looking for.

This was so easy to assemble and keep clean. I love the option to create the shape to my preference. I purchased this as a pen for our bunny named Lucky and he hasn't tried to leave he seems to feel safe and at home in this pen. It is quite easy to open and get in and out of.

This portable gate serves to close up a wide opening at the top of my stairs. I was unable to find any other gate that would work without doing major construction to my wall and banister. This was a easy solution. Walmart was most reasonalbly priced & free shipping to my home.

This Playard it a huge help. My husband works from home and watches our son at the same time. Talk about a handful! Especially since he is 6 months old now and getting more mobile all the time. He wants to stretch out and play, but my husband can't watch him every second and get anything done. I love it too because he can see everthing going on around him.
I thought that 1 panel was a door/gate that opened and closed but it is not. You need to either climb over to put your child down or open one of the corners which is a 2 hand job. Once the panels are put together they do not hinge, you need to take them apart and put them together at the angle you want. It doesn't actually fold like the description says, if you want to transport it you need to take all the panels appart and stack them together.
These are all minor things and I believe saftey minded, it was a matter of us figuring out how it worked.
Love the product and the options it gives us! and Love that it is made in the USA.

We purchased this portable Playard because our dog had 14 puppies and we needed a way to corral them in our home. The Playard has literally saved our lives. It is lightweight enough to carry outside to rinse off when necessary and yet sturdy enough to do the job. We even took it with us on a long weekend and set it up outside for the pups. It comes apart easily to transport and assembles just as quickly. I would highly recommend this product. Our son used it for his child and found it just as useful. The price was right and it was delivered quicker than promised. I am a very satisfied customer.

I love it! I purchased this to keep my daughter safely enclosed outdoors, and this play yard really met my expectations. It is lightweight and portable, but also sturdy enough to contain my rambunctious 1 year old. I use it both indoors and out, and it is AWESOME. I highly recommend purchasing the extension kit.
