The inscription is very light but is still readable in the right light. I believe this makes the inscription more personal. The ring itself holds up very well during average everyday activities. It's very manly and a great buy. The shipping takes longer then most orders but you do have to remember its personalized, so its to be expected. If your looking for a quality ring at a decent price I recommend purchasing this ring.

I bought this ring and had a special message engraved on the band (included in the price of the ring). It is for my husband for our anniversary and this was the one that was in my budget and looked really good. I read the positive reviews on it and figured I would get it. It arrived more then a week early and was so much nicer then what I expected. It even came with a little dark blue drawstring bag to keep it in when it isn't being worn.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a replacement promise ring for his birthday. He loves it. The engraving is a tad tiny but is still very noticable. The weight of the ring is just perfect for a guy that works with his hands. It's tough and long lasting. Great buy!

I bought this for my fiance right before we hit are 6 month mark of dating. He wears it just about every day and he loves it! No dings or scratches on it, very sturdy. I plan to buy another band similar from walmart when we get married.

I bought this ring as a promise ring for my boyfriend. I would def recommend it. The ring is heavier than it looks. the engraving came out perfect!!!! When i ordered the ring they said it would take 2 weeks to b delivered...i got it in 4 days!!!! He absolutely loves the ring!!!!!

Terrific. I purchased this for my soon-to-be Hubby as his wedding ring. He wanted something tough and with no diamonds as it makes him nervous that he may ruin the ring. And the claddagh is important to him, he feels very strongly about his Irish heritage. The engraved claddagh design on the outside of the ring is a little lighter than the picture makes it appear to be, but overall the ring is great. The engraving was perfect and very beautifully done. He hasn't seen the ring yet, but I am sure he will love it as I do.

The ring itself on the outside if very nice. nothing too fancy but nothing to dull either which is good for the guy. But the engraving is soo light that it's a bit hard to read, you would really need to focus on the letters. Overall I am satisfied with the ring which I got as a Promise Ring.

I purchased this ring December 2008 to give to my boyfriend; who does not wear rings. He was very pleased with the ring, and wore it all the time!! However, the script(if you get it engraved) can be a little bigger then what it was. Other than that, it is a very good ring to purchase and I'll be purchasing the same exact one here in a couple of days since my boyfriend lost it (he requested I get him the same one, so that tells you he liked it and that it fits a man very well!!)
For the price...its a steal! and the meaning; even if you're not Irish, is lovely!
(No I don't work for Walmart, this ring was actually really GREAT!!)

This ring is WAY better than anything I could have exspected. It less "shiny" than the pic shows. But I think it looks more "manish" than the pic makes it out to be. And the ingraving was flawless!!! I have purchased a few Walmart jewlery items for my husband and have been very happy with everythig :)

I purchased this ring as a wedding band for my future husband. He has never worn rings before, and I thought that this would be a good "tester" ring for him. To be honest, I had fairly low expectations and figured I would get what I paid for. My low expectations were met and surpassed by far! The finish is more matte than the picture shows and the engraving is more delicate, and subtle. I had an engraving made in the center and it was flawless. The thing that most surprised me was the weight of the band, it was much heavier than I had anticipated. My future husband who was very skeptical about a walmart ring at first, was very pleased with it and so am I! I may not even have to "upgrade" as I thought I would!
