Very effective as a device to limit the wandering activities of the two puppies I have. The gates are easy to use and don't contain any parts that are easily broken or chewed by little teeth. The height remains low enough that an adult can step over it without too much difficulty and my cats have no problem jumping it, yet is very easy to remove when no longer needed. Comes ready to use out of the box with no mounting hardware needed, saving the woodwork from damage. A good product that should serve well for many years to come.

A corner of the box was smashed, and the gate was broken when I received it. I returned it and didn't think it was worth my time to attempt to reorder. I will buy another gate that is sold elsewhere.

I purchased this to keep my 2 year old granddaughter out of mine and my roommate's rooms while still allowing access for our cats to get in and out of the rooms. I tried the doorways, the hallway and she got through them regardless. A little effort on her part had the gates down.

Of course a more expensive gate will fit uneven doorways better but for the price this does the job. I spent more on my stairway gates but use these for quick temporary blocking of rooms and our deck.

Although setting up this gate was a little tricky, even after following instructions; I still think it is a great product for the marked price. I love it and the freedom it affords me to peacefully prepare dinner without worrying about my busy body toddler son "cooking up" mischief!

Seems fine. A bit hard to adjust initially, but dead easy after it's set up. Good value for money. One of the most difficult thing about this product is freeing the instructions from the product; it seems to be embedded between the two parts of the gate and unless you are pretty mechanically adept, you won't know how to separate the two parts to get the instructions to tell you how to separate the two parts to get the instructions..... Otherwise, just fine.

The gate was a little too short for one area; but, that was my fault not measuring correctly. Worked beautifully in the area that was the right size. Very easy to set up, take down, and store.
