I had to return these "tighty whities" to the local walmart. They were too big for my 7 yr old. I ordered the large thinking it may have been size 10/12, but instead it was 14/16. From what I can see as in quality, they appear to be the typical undies. Just keep in mind that a medium is 10/12 and a large is 14/16.

The body of the briefs has slightly less heft than what I've been used to but sufficient.
The elastic waist band seems of inferior composition: it's of thinner material, not much resistance to stretching, and easily rolls over itself as you ride the briefs up the thighs and buttocks, which makes it necessary to flatten the band by unrolling it so it fits smoothly against the waist.
I've yet to wash and machine dry the products so I can not fairly judge the endurance and longevity over months of use and cleaning.

these were exactly what i was looking for. i bought 5 packs of them for my 2 year old so that he could use the toilet or not. i put them on my 9 month old, too, folded over. there is room for growth so that i anticipate my 2 year old will wear them when he is 3 and maybe beyond. they are a great price and i'm very happy with them.

I RECEIVED THIS TODAY. WASN'T SURE OF THE SIZES BASED ON OTHER PEOPLE REVIEWS WHEN I ORDERED IT. I TOOK A CHANCE ON THE SIZE I ORDERED. IT'S BASICALLY LIKE THIS ON THE BACK OF THE PACKAGE:

I PURCHASED THE L/14-16 FOR MY 12 Y.O SON. HE'S SLIM BUILT & IS THE SHORT SIDE(57"). I HAVEN'T OPENED IT YET. SO I DON'T KNOW HOW IT WILL FIT. HIS PREVIOUS UNDERWARE WAS THE HANES BOXER BRIEFS IN SIZE M/10-12. HE SAID IT FITS SNUG AND WANTED A LARGER SIZE. Hanes underwear wear well and last. However, I was disappointed that the walmart site listed the wrong size equivalents for S/M/L and i ended up with the wrong size. Now i have the hassle of returing/exchanging.

This pack was definitely the least expensive out there. They are Hanes so the quality is good. My son is rather slender and the fit is so/so. The waistband is a little snug while the rest is a little loose. I wouldn't recommend these for a child on the husky side given the snug fit he would get around his middle. If the sizing between the bulk of the material was more balanced out with the waistband I would give these a better rating.

There are just fine just shrink so buy a size bigger then you need. My son doesn't want to ware them because there was no Lighting McQueen on them, but they are still a good quality.

I bought size Small for my 5 year old grandson and Medium for my 7 year old grandson. I thought these would be fine. I was unable to find a size chart for these online. Well, the small is size 6 to 8 with emphasis on 8, and the medium is 10 to 12 with emphasis on 12. My five year old is still waiting for us to find him some new underwear, and his brother is wearing the small. The medium package has been put away for the future. The small is a bit baggy on the seven year old--it wouldn't even stay up on the younger child.
Size charts need to be readily available so the right size can be purchased.
These, however, are good quality, name-brand briefs and should wear well.

We ordered these hoping they had the gray bands the photos show. We couldn't find the gray bands in the stores anymore and hoped we'd found what we'd been looking for. They do NOT have gray bands. They are white with gray writing, like what we could already find in the store. As they were NOT what we thought we were ordering (color is important when that's why you get it), I took them back. As there was nothing physically wrong with them, I got the money back MINUS the shipping...
First time with Walmart that the picture is NOT what it says it is.... sorry, but it didn't go over well that the shipping was excluded when in actuality, it wasn't the "color-band" we thought we were ordering. They are good underpants, but please update the picture. Thanks.
