We are using this product in our condo parking lot. It's helping to slow down drivers. It reminds people that children don't always look both ways before they run out into the parking lot. Great Idea.

I live in a cul-d-sac gated community and I sometimes see cars down the road past 40 miles an hour! The cars definitely slow down when they see the signs. I bought two and I would recommend this to any parent.

This sign works great in alerting drivers. With it designed to resemble a child it especially catches drivers attention. The bright colors and the flag as well as the SLOW sticker sign on the side make you notice it right away. I feel a lot more at ease with this at the end of the driveway when the kids are out. I run a daycare in my home and this has been great to have for that as well as for my own kids.

I own one. And i bought my daughter one also.
I had mine going on a year now. I use it when my grand children are here. We are out side playing.
I live on a busy street. So dose my daughter.
It dose alert the drivers there are children in the area playing. And they do slow down when they see it ahead.

If you have kids and you live near any road or passageway - you really should consider buying this. It is simple to assemble, well made and looks substantial enough to last a good many summers (and winters). We have a small access road at the back of our yard and the occasional hasty driver will fly along this road like their tyres were on fire. I put this out as soon as I got it home and within minutes, the very next car along slammed their brakes on and crawled at 1 mile per hour! Every other car I've seen has done the same too. I intend to ONLY put it out when the kids are out, that way drivers won't get used to seeing it, and it will alert them every time. I don't have any "spare" kids, I need the ones I've got!, I believe this will help me to keep them safe.

I bought this in hopes that cars would slow down while my toddler was playing outside and it works!! Although we have signs posted all around our neighborhood people don't really notice them, but now that they see a little "turtle man" sign out in the street it has made a big difference. I feel a little safer, but this is not a replacement for parental supervison. I highly recommend getting this product!!

I have placed this at the end of my drive and have noticed that cars have slowed down when they see it. It really makes an impact and ensures the area around our home is much safer. This little plastic man is fairly good at getting cars to slow down. If only he could give tickets to the speeding cars!! :) It was a little tough to get his main body insterted into the base, a little man power was needed. The base can be filled with water or sand to keep him stable.

Since the KidAlert looks like a running kid, it catches the attention even of drivers that are not paying attention. It is very easy to handle so the kids can set it up (and put it away!) themselves. It's very sturdy, too, so I hope it will outlast the kids. For this additional safety it's worth to pay a bit more.

We live on the corner of a court and main road of our sub and we have lots of kids that play in the court. We put the sign on the corner of our yard so that people don't fly down that street. Cars think twice before using the court as a turn around.

I know its not a traffic stop or anything but it does alert the drivers that a child is playing and to slow down. The color is very bright and you can see the sign saying slow. Am happy with this purchase
