Austin Microsuede Blackout Energy Efficient Curtain Panel, Rust 84"

These are great... they look great, they block the light and weather... I love them.

This is the third room I've purchased these curtains for and I love every color. The fabric is soft & cozy and hangs so well - they look far more expensive than the price. I was quite happy these are rust rather than more like burgandy - if you are looking for rust these are perfect. I have the Khaki and the Loden colors as well and love them all! I leave them partially open with sheers under until the winter winds blow in Iowa then I'll close them for the warmth. A good buy!

I love the color of these curtains. However they did not work with the colors in my livingroom so I had to return them. They are a very pretty rust color and I needed more of a burgandy. Too bad, because they are really nice curtains.

I am a day sleeper and need the room to be dark. These drapes did the trick. They were not 100% opaque and a bit of light did come through, but they are on a large window that gets a lot of direct, bright sunlight. The curtains were twice as long as I needed them, so i doubled them up, pinned at the top, slid them on the curtain rod, and that worked, giving me 100% blackout.

Looks-wise, these drapes are very nice. I was reluctant to buy online and without having seen the color, but I am very happy. The micro-suede fabric looks very rich, and the 'rust' color is deeper and richer than the picture indicates.

These drapes do not have the typical "white liner" on the backside as many blockout drapes do. Instead, the backing is the same color as the fabric of the drape, which I actually prefer. Apparently, the back side is coated with some chemical that enhances the blackout effect and also has a thermal effect...in fact, the drapes do seem to keep the room cooler on hot days, and warmer when it is cold outside.

Another reviewer indicated that the drapes had some soundproofing quality. I didn't find that to be so. However, I sleep with a noisy HEPA filter on, which blocks out noise outside, so the lack of sound proofing was not an issue for me.

I am happy with this purchase and will buy more of these drapes for another room in my house that needs blackout drapes. The price is excellent for blackout drapes (I saw others at Walmart and Penneys that were priced twice as much and looked crummy compared to these. I would recommend the drapes to others.

The only thing about these curtains I did not like is that they have a very strong odor out of the package. I washed them but they still had a faint odor. But it went away after a day. Other than that I love these curtains. My windows are very old and drafty. These curtains block out the light and cold. I also bought some in Mocha for my room. They are soft and hang nicely. Now I only wish I had bought some of these years ago.

These drapes are exactly what I needed to help keep the cold out. They are very attractive, easy to maintain and once put up raised the temperature in my house. Can't wait to see what they do in the summer by helping to keep the summer heat out. I am very pleased and recommend this product.

My daughter, who helped me put up these drapes was so enthused that she is ordering the same drapes for her home.

We're very pleased with these curtains. Great color--more of a rich wine color than rust--coordinates nicely with our red brick fireplace. Since they're not lined, they are a lighter weight compared to other black-out curtains I've tried but just as good at blocking light. Also purchased these in Loden and happy with those, too.

The color is actually a deep, dark, rust...not as light as the picture, but what i was hoping for. They are heavy, well made, and truly blackout.

Love their looks, feel and texture. Makes my window look great and also is a good insulator.
