The computer work ok sofar This computer dose not support TV Tuners. A paper that came with it said if you add a TV Tuner ONLY some External USB TV Tuners are Compatible with this HP PC. Internals TV Tuners are NOT. Said to purchase an external USB TV Tuner go to HP Shopping Web Site. I did could not find any thing. So I got online with Tec. Suport They said they have one. But they won't say what it is. They want you to BUY it Without checking it out you can't buy it on line. I work with Viedo VHS td DVD. For this reason I'm NOT HAPPY With COMPUTER. Old Computer had AGP ATI All-In-Wonder 9600XT Grate Card for what I did. Video card in HP Not so Good. If yuor in to Video Transfer and Recording DON'T BUY this one.

We upgraded to this PC from an Insignia that kept getting the BSOD. It is very nice so far. I have only had it for a few days now but we love it! Vista is not that bad. It is just basically a fancier version of XP. You use Windows Mail in place of Outlook which basically works the same. You can put pictures in for each of your contacts which is kinda cute. I also love the lightscribe feature. This PC did not come with any software CD's. Everything it comes with is preinstalled into the computer. It does come with the option of burning your own recovery CD's/DVD's which we did and then we lightscribed the DVD's so it looks professional. You can also perform a system recovery directly from the hard drive, however, we like having the DVD's just in case. We also purchased WalMart's extended Warranty so now we are covered for 3 years. (It is a lot cheaper than HP's warranty) We bought the 19" Acer widescreen monitor to go with this and it is nice too. All in all, a great computer!!!! I am having a lot of fun with it!

Everything is perfect but I swear I read it played DVD's when I bought it....The service person my wife called was able to download a program, from where he was, and now we can watch DVDs. Happy ending, thanks

the HP Pavilion tower was all we expected it to be. We searched thru a lot of products to find the "one" that would met our needs at this time. It was bought for grandchildren in middle school. We feel it stands up to the HP name and quality we expected from HP products. thank you

This computer has met and in some cases exceeded my expectations. It is very quick and so quiet , so far works very well. Enormous harddrive, actually 2 of them ... I checked with HP and since one hard drive is empty, it is possible to piggy back Windows XP in the second one and do a double boot, for those who might be interested in that option. My first time with Vista and I find I love it, it is easy and I love the graphics. Only con I have found is Vista does not do Yahoo voice conference... but hopefully soon there will be an update. I have not found a single program that is not compatible with Vista..... I even installed Microsoft Plus for XP for some games My grandson loves to play and it also works great ..... I highly recommend this unit ....

Very nice product. Great for home use. Could not have been easier to set up. Would be nice if it included an easy transfer cable since the Vista OS makes it easy to transfer everything from your old computer.

The computer is very well equipped (2 gigs of RAM, new AMD dual core processor, and plenty of hard drive space). It has a nice NVIDIA graphics card that is suitable for anything the average user would need...email, Internet, Youtube videos, and news clips. It wouldn't be good enough for gaming, though. It was easy to set up and install and it only took me about half an hour to unpack and get fired up for the first time.
The HP software is pretty convenient and makes the computer settings easy to find and update. It comes with a trial of Norton Antivirus and a trial of Microsoft Office. Overall, so far, I am happy with the computer and will let you all know otherwise if anything goes wrong. My only complaint...I wish they would put the software disks in the box rather than making you burn your own copies.
Walmart was great. You get a 15 day return policy with no restocking fee. Yeah! The price was a good deal too.
