This is the mother of all spotlights. It is a super bright white light that reaches out and so far has shown its ability to hold a long charge. Because of the lead acid battery it is somewhat front heavy and has a tendency to become a little heavy at times. It would have been more functional and balanced if it had been designed as a top handled lantern . All in all this is one fine product that will definitely: "Light up" your life. This is exactly what I was looking for! I didn't want a "burn-the-side-of-the-mountain-down spotlight that lasted only 20-minutes before needing a recharge." I wanted a spotlight that would give me a great pentrating, powerful beam that would last as long as I needed it to work without fizzling out when I needed it the most. That's exactly what I got with the Coleman LED rechargeable spotlight. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for the same characteristics in a spotlight.

This is a great spot light. Lasts a long time and lights up my whole yard...as far as I can see and more. It's just a little heavy but works GREAT. If you need to see at night this is the light for you !!

USE IT ALMOST EVERY NIGHT, HAVE CHARGED IT ONCE SINCE THE INTIAL CHARGE. A LITTLE HEAVY IF YOU ARE GOING TO HOLD IT A LONG TIME. WILL BUY ANOTHERONE WHEN OUR OTHER SOTLIGHT DIES!!

Great spotlight used on camping trip in Saranac Lake N.Y. and it was just awesome. The 3 leds bulbs lead the way for brightness. When boating at night it was like daytime spotlight was so bright. You can not go wrong with this Coleman Spotlight, great product a little bit heavy but performance of light makes up for the weight, so I am very pleased as it will light up the night.

I was skeptical about this light...about its brightness and runtime. Turns out that it is comparable in size, weight, and brightness to a 1 million candlepower spotlight. And since it has LEDs for bulbs...they wont be burning out(for a long time). This thing runs for hours without losing its brightness. Comes with an AC wall power adapter/charger and a car adapter/charger. Run time is infinite when using either one of the power adapters. No need to sit on the fence about purchasing this light...it is awesome!!! I am not disappointed with this purchase. Everything is good about it. I can light up a hill 100yards away and see everything very clearly. For those who are wondering what kind of battery it uses, it is a sealed Lead Acid type...enclosed within the lights housing. It has a trigger for turning it on, and the trigger can be locked on by flipping a lever. Also has a red led charge indicator light.

Purchased this item a couple of weeks ago, used it 6 or 8 times. A couple of times for and hour or longer... kept its brightness the whole time. Trigger lock is a nice accessory. It's a little heavy like the other reviews mentioned, but it does just what it said. Doesnt get hot, and lasted well over an hour while I worked on a generator, and was still going strong when I finished. Remember to charge it after use, and you will be satisfied. Overall great product.

The Coleman spotlight exceeded all my expectations. It's extremely bright (530 lumens), and it holds a charge for 2.5 hrs. Actually I've never used it through a full charge, but I have used it for over an hour with no decrease in intensity. The Cree LEDs blow traditional incandescent bulbs away. They provide a spotlight combined with area lighting for approximately 30 degrees around the spotlight. The only fault I can probably find is that it is fairly heavy for a hand-held light (about five lbs.). Other than that I recommend it for everyone.

This is a great portable spot light! Its alittle on the heavy side, but for every day use its ideal. It floods the area with alot of ambiant light. push the trigger for instant light or flip the switch for constant light! Battery lasts over 2 hours of constant use. A/C + D/C car plug.

It is nice to have a rechargeable spotlight that lasts longer thatn the typical 20 minutes. This one lasts hours and is very bright. It would be nice if it came with a red lens cover for hunting. It is comparable to a 1 million candlepower in other brands. The light has a bit of a blueish tint to but very bright and great product.

I have owned previous rechargeable lights and this one surpasses them all. This light is bright! very comparable with a 1 million candle power light. Flashlight has three very bright LED's and gives off a bright white light, cuts through fog well too! This light held a charge for over 2 hours without dying out. If you're looking for good rechargeable Spot light then buy this one. Its a little heavier than the 20 dollar lights but not too heavy, probably due to battery. Light has lockable feature on side of handle to lock light on if needed. Best spotlight for the money.

The two best things about this light are that it is VERY bright and the battery lasts a long time. It's somewhat heavy, but that's to be expected. This is a much better value than other lights that are almost as expensive. I use this for lighting up basements while doing home inspections. It's also good for finding street addresses on houses while driving down the road, similar to what the police use on their cars.

This LED spotlight from Coleman is exactly what I was looking for! It has exceeded my expectations in both brightness and battery life. I needed a light I could use for docking and anchoring a small sailboat at night, and this light is perfect for that. In fact, if it had a low-light setting I think it would still be bright enough. In shopping for lights I looked at many, and this light at 530 lumens would be considered weak. But I have found it brighter than I need, an excellent value, and perhaps most importantly - it will run for 2+ hours on a charge (most non-LED spotlights will run for about 1/2 hour on a charge). Being LED the light has a blue tint to the light, and would not display colors well on a map or chart. But is EXCELLENT for seeing and illuminating a dark area on the water. I would estimate the light useful to over 100 ft. It seems a bit heavy for it's size (8lbs), a trade-off I suppose for the long battery life. The light is activated by a pull tirgger, or can be locked "On". It will charge from either AC or 12vdc, with both chargers included.
