I really do like this friction mount for my nuvi. I've had it now for a few months and it is great. It is so easy to use. I just leave my GPS attached to it and when I'm not using it, I store it under my center console tray on the floor in my Honda CRV. When I'm ready to use it, I just plop it on the dash and it stays put....not once has it fallen off. I didn't like the suction mount that came with my gps because it left a ring on the windshield and because my windshield slopes outward quite a bit, it was a bit difficult to mount. This is great. When I ordered this, it came as a package deal with my 265T garmin GPS. I luv it and my gps so much that my co-worker wanted to try it out....well she fell in luv with this and my gps and bought one too.

I must say I was surprised as to how well the product perfomed during my recent trip from Michigan to Atlantic Cty.Once in place it nevwer budged.It also has a few features that I was not aware of .It has a feature that alows the Garmin to rotate to your desired position then locks in that position also the plastic mount is removable for better storage. I seen cheaper friction mounts on the web butI don't think they can conpair with the garmin mount

I got this friction mount for $1 when I purchased the GPS, so it was a very good deal. Another car bumped the rear of our car, on one trip and the mount stayed in place. However, if you have a small, subcompact car you might not have the dash space to place it on.

This weighted GPS holder stays put without marring your dashboard. It works well for transferring your GPS from different places within your car - or for moving between cars. It worked well in the odd space I found between the gearshift lever and the dash. It's simple to set-up and remove if needed. It makes a nice addition to the standard suction cup holder that comes with the GPS.

If you have a flat dashboard area for it, it will work great. If your dash is 'area challenged' such as mine, you may have to keep an eye on it and not accelerate too fast! It makes for a great helper with visibility of the unit. Also facilitates satellite acquisition. I like it.

It really work well at first i coulden't belived it really work, I would give it five stars. I would recemend it for any who wont's a excellent dash mount for their GPS it stayed in place just as the instructions said it would. So othse that need a mount for their GPS this the one to solve all of your problems. It works.
