BreathableBaby - Breathable Safer Bumper, Blue

My little one (now almost 5 months old) was moving around a lot in his crib and his hands and legs kept sticking out of the crib...needless to say it worried me! My husband and I didn't like regular bumpers because of worry of suffocation...these breathable bumpers kept our minds at ease and they keep our baby's little arms and legs inside the crib where they belong! I love the look of the breathable bumper as well...looks great! I only wish that it was cushier...because sometimes he scoots his head close to the bars...but I guess that's what you get to make it breathable!

I am very pleased w/ my purchase...it is easy to put up and looks nice and neat....plus it feels safer than a regular bumper pad...and the child can't pull on it....

My little one is a mover in his sleep and kept waking up screaming becuase his legs had gotten stuck, again. Not a problem since we installed this. Very easy to install and can move the side rail up and down easily with it.

It's not stylish and a bit expensive but I'm no longer concerned that my baby might be suffocating or anything like that. It's also good coz I can see him thru the bumper when I need to check on him at night (the crib is in our bedroom). I would definitely recommend this product.

I do like these bumper pads, they are breathable and they do collapse when stepped on. The color is nice and I like that they velcro instead of tie.

However, when I showed them to my husband he said 'those are bumper pads?' They are very thin so when my 10 month old works his way to the side of the crib while sleeping the bars still bother his head, very little cusion.

There are 2 pieces to these. A shorter one for the drop side cribs and a longer one. We do have a drop side crib with solid head & foot board. The shorter one is fine (have to readjust it after dropping the side but I think thats common with any bumper pad). The longer one is a bit more of a hassle because of the solid ends on our crib we had to fold the ends back to the middle to fasten the velcro (as per the instructions). I guess if the crib weren't up against a wall this wouldn't be such a hassle but in the small space we have for the crib it is.

I am glad we purchased them and I believe we will be using them for the duration.

I was so worried that my son was going to seriously injure himself getting caught in the crib rails I didn't know what to do. After 4X a night of waking up to his cries of being trapped I scoured the internet and found this product which was safe and affordable. It is worth every penny because he is not getting trapped, he is not going to suffocate like with the typical bumper pad, and I can sleep through the night again without worries. Thank goodness and thanks to them for my peace of mind!!!

My baby started pulling the bumper over his head so I thougt I would try this bumper. It is great. He can no longer pull it over her head. It tucks down along the side of the mattress. I love that it has velcro. Not more undoing the bumper to change the sheet. Also I love that I can put the front of the crib down. I love that is is breathable. It is a great product and I am very happy with it. I just wish I bought this before I spent money on an entire bedding set. I also bought it in pink for my little girl.

My son was constantly pulling his crib bumper off, and had managed to rip some of the ties off in the process. It wasn't safe to have his old bumper in his crib anymore, but anytime I tried to take it off, he would constantly wake up because he got his legs caught in the rails and couldn't get himself out of that position. A few women I know recommended this bumper and after reading the details and reviews of it, I ordered it. It is held in place with Velcro, which not even my son can pull off. It's made of breathable mesh so that even if he did manage to pull it off, it wouldn't suffocate him. It's also not bulky like a lot of bumpers. I would recommend this to anyone.
