This chair is light weight and comfortible. The high back allows you to put your back to the breeze on a windy day at the beach. This chair reclines all the way back to lay flat with your feet in the sand. The bar you see at the top of the chair is actually the portion of the frame that rests on the ground for support. It makes for a nice towel holder when in an upright position. This is a RIO Brand chair.

I was looking for a low beach chair, and found this one online. Its a good heavy-duty chair, but very bulky, heavy, and definitely wasn't designed with the beach-goer in mind. Overall, a sturdy, attractive chair.
