I purchased these as an early Christmas present for my daughter who lives in another state. Although I have not seen them, she told me she loves them. Being square, the plates are really neat looking. Being white, anything will go with them. Although she checked them to be sure they were okay, she isn't going to use them until Christmas.

I wanted a set of simple, sturdy, white dishes with a modern look for my new place. This set is perfect! Not to mention very versatile and will go great with any kitchen. The brand is classic and has been around for decades, so I trust it. Dishwasher safe is a definite plus!!! I'm enjoying my new set!

Corelle products in general are a great buy. They are chip proof. If for some reason your dish chips you send it in and they send you a new one. We had several occasions of plates being accidentally dropped and none of them chipped or broke! I have one set and will be purchasing another. I will never go with a different brand of plates!

These dishes are much lighter in weight than my old stoneware, which is great. The square shape gives them a modern feel, yet could fit into any decor. They are durable, but remember they are glass, so no hot to/immediate cold water. This concerned me at first but it really isn't even a consideration. I love that it takes very little effort to either wash or empty from a dishwasher. I bought two sets (service for eight) and will be buying more!

I went with the white square dishes and I am so glad I did. I love the size of the plates and bowls, and the way a large area of the plate are flat and then the sides raise up slightly. The are so light, yet can take cutting up food without hurting the plate. They are glass, so you can't just trow them in the sink, well you can, but it would not be a good idea. Read the care booklet, as it will let you know how to take care and use the dishes. I did not find it limiting, just know not to handle a hot plate with any thing wet. I am very happy with this product and if not for the low cost at Wal-Mart, I may have not bought them.
