Great sound, with a small inconvenience" 06-01-2008 - Reviewed By Frosty12 [Warnig] must have FM direct kit The direct connection provides crystal clear sound from my XM tuner and couldn't be better. One thing I didn't realize until after I got it installed was that when the XM radio is on, the direct connection switches off my car radio antenna. So if I want to switch from listening to XM to my regular radio, I can't hear some of my favorite over-the-air radio stations unless I turn my XM tuner off (which takes a few seconds). If you switch between XM and the regular radio very often, you may want to think about it before going with this option.

This is my 3rd radio and by far the best. I used the cassette adapter and get clear reception without having to tune the radio from channel to channel hunting an empty freq. It took me about 15 minutes to get it in the truck, Ford Explorer and have all the wires hidden. Another 5 minutes on the phone with activation and the tunes were playing after another 20. I like it and would get another one if I needed it.

This is my second XM Radio unit and by far the best. I have the Sirius version of this color radio. (Sporster 5) and this blows that away. Excellent clear display. The Audio is crystal clear too. I run mine though the Ipod jack in the car . The stock ticker is so cool,if your stocks are up the price is in Green or down in Red. Also has a split screen abillity and you can store ten songs and play them back on the unit. The replay and pause feature was a must for me,since I am a UPS Driver and I can pause the ballgame and not miss a pitch then catch up and fast forward through the commercial. The unit also comes with a convenient remote. If you can afford the extra cost this is the best unit out there and I also like the fact that it's made by Delphi, They have made radios for G.M. for years and have always made quality products.

This product was very nice it allows you to do so much. The other day I was in line at a Fast Food Place and when I made my order I Hit the pause button and hit play affter I placed my order. This is the Pro. The Con is I own a 2004 Mazda 3 and the built in FM Frequencies where horrible I had to purchase an FM Modulator to get a clear sound. So to sum it up, the reciever is great but the appearance looks alot better than it Sounds.
