I purchased this product as a gift for my husband for Father's Day. It arrived in record time, was pretty easy to set up, and was one of the few portable hammocks that was capable of swinging. However, we let our daugher take it to summer camp with her, and it now has a slight rip due to more than one person getting on it at once. I love it, but don't let more than one person on it at a time!

'S' Hooks
This just arrived today - picked it up for $30 (plus shipping). It was packed very well, with plenty of foam around all the metal pipes. It was a breeze to set up and the construction looks good. When I'm in the hammock, it sags down to about 4" off the center metal poles (which is maybe 8" off the ground total) - I weigh about 140 lbs. However, this is with the two large 'S' hooks in place. This hammock comes with two 'S' hooks so that if it stretches out a little you just remove the hooks and tighten up the hammock a couple inches. This is a great deal for $30.

Very hard to set up, bars bend very easy when trying to set it up. also not so easy to take down bars will not release to fold as they should. Would not recommend this one, my daughter has one by the same maker but a slight difference and it's real easy to set up and take down

i love it but i wish it wasnt so heavy... i am a smaller girl and carrying this thing is gonna be a trying experience it makes me not want to take it anywhere but at the same time it is so nice to lay in... so if you can find a strong boy to carry it for you then it is an awesome purchase.... but if not your gonna have to love it too in order to want to take it anywhere with you... it weights alot more than i expected.... but in the end i do love it....:)

Excellent for beach and lakes. Keeps you away from the sand and off the ground. Great chair. This is my second one. One thing, I wish I would have waited a week later. It is on sale now from $48.88 to $37.00. and $18.88 savings. Other than that, good to go.

This is by far the best hammock that I have ever owned, and I have owned a few. It is easy to set up, compact and the price was outstanding. I would however like to have access to replacement parts when needed.

This is an excellent hammock. Instead of needing something else to tie it to, it comes with its own aluminum frame, so you can set it up anywhere. The hammock is made of nylon, so it will be easy to clean, and it sets up quick.
Out of the bag, the frame is unfolded all in one piece, and locked down with four quarter-inch steel pins, attached to the frame with yarn strings. The nylon hammock then stretches and hangs on four solid steel hooks (two on each end.) Having two hooks on the end keeps it steady and easier to get on. The hammock comes with two metal S-hooks, to help with stretching and hanging the nylon hammock between the ends of the frame. The hammock folds back up as easily as it sets up, with the nylon hammock rolled up and the frame folded together. There are two simple nylon straps that can be used to tie the frame together for transport.
The zipper bag is nice, but does not zip all the way down. This can make it slightly more difficult to put the hammock away, but does not seriously get in the way. The bag comes with a single nylon hand-strap and two shoulder straps for back-packing it. The straps are single-stitched to the bag, so they may not hold up under stress.
Overall, I really enjoy having this hammock. It's easy to set up for whenever I want to use it. It's portable to go wherever I want to use it. I highly recommend this hammock.
