For the money this is an excellent single person tent. It's super-lightweight and packs up tiny. Took it as a backup tent on a camping trip last year and ended up using it- my boyfriend forgot the rainfly on the big tent. This tent slept the 2 of us fairly comfortably. Due to the single wall construction we did have some condensation problems due to the heavy dew at the location we were camping, as long as you dont touch the tent walls you would have no problem keeping dry. With two people and two sleeping bags that was a problem for us, so we did get a little wet - nothing major, our sleeping bags just got a little damp from the contact with the tent wall. This is not a freestanding tent - you do have to have to use the stakes and guylines for the tent to function. The stakes were a little flimsy but that is to be expected with such an inexpensive tent. My only complaint- the front guyline makes it a little tricky to get in and out of the tent.

This tent only has poles to hold up the front and back and then you have to use rope to tie the tent to a tree to hold it up. If you have no trees then you cannot use this. Not free standing.

I your looking for a small, lightweight, backpacking shelter, you've found it. Set up and take down are extremely easy. However, it is NOT, by any means meant for inclement weather. Also, if you are expecting to have any dew in the morning, this tent will develop heavy condensation, which means that you will get wet if you touch the sides at all, and due to its small size, it will be practically impossible not to touch the sides. On a good note, I managed to wrap a tarp around it during a rain storm, and stayed fairly comfortable. There's plenty of space for a small amount of gear and one sleeper, but it is too small to be anything more than just a sleeping shelter. Overall, I liked this product enough to buy another one to pack on my motorcycle.

I set this tent up at home to put seam sealer on it and so I woldn't have any suprises. It sets up easy and gave more than enough room for my 6'3" frame. I've only used it for two nites so far but it's great for backpacking - very light and compact. I DO wish it came with a rain fly but for the money it's perfect. I first saw this tent on the camping gear site where I bought my backpack for $5 more. I love this little tent and can't wait to use it again!

The tent is good for one person. Don't try to sleep 2. It is very light weighted and easy to set up. Only drawback is the tent is not water proofed.

Sets up very easily with a pole in front, and one in back and rope lines to keep taut. Teenage son has used it twice but came home damp inside each time. Not much head room, so he may be touching it too much and even a heavy dew seems to get onto his sleeping bag, even after we sprayed it with water repellent. Very light and small to pack, easy to roll-up and store in bag.

The product was very light-weight and perfect for a first backpacking adventure. My only suggestion would be to include a plastic hammer in the tent, the spikes were not very sturdy, bending easily when trying to push them into the ground.

Purchased "biker" tent to pack on motorcycle trip through AZ, Utah, Nv, Calif. July 1, 2009, Prescott, AZ. National Campground immediately south of Prescott. 1st problem, very small aluminum tent pegs dont really work in sandy, pebbled ground. 2nd problem, monsoon thunderstorm pretty much washed away very small aluminum tent pegs. Water was splashing through tent fabric, tent flooded from ground water flow. Everything soaked. My Wenzel 20 degree sleeping bag managed to keep me above the worst of the water. But really, 26 dollars? Halfway to a dry motel room..........sorry guys. Adequate for a nice fair weather campout in your backyard.

The price is great but the tent isn't. I bought this as a light option for backpacking trips into the mountains. Used it for the first time last weekend. How did it go? First thing I did after getting home was order a $200 hiking tent from The North Face. The Wenzel was too cramped, couldn't even change my socks inside without being a gymnast, getting in and out was a real pain because of the guy rope in front of the door. If you are half serious about a backpacking tent avoid this one and spend the money for a real tent.

The tent was awesome but I wished that it came with rainfly. Early in the morning while camping in the mountain, the tent collected dew. Also there a vent that does not collect on the small end of the tent.

This tent is fabulous! It takes less than a minute to both setup and take down. The tent is a one person tent but if you were sleeping under blankets you could get two or three easily. Tent is very durable. This would be a great tent for a new backpacker who doesn't know whether or not they like backpacking. The only problem is there is no rainfly and the door is small. But, other than that I love <3 this tent!

I went on 2 days camping trip with this tent. The tent is ok, it is expected to be small. However, the major issue with a tent is that it leaked during raining. And it rained 3 times.

Very light. Enough room for two to sleep. My wife and I used this backpacking twice. Not for sitting around and playing cards. great for backpacking or bicycle camping. I have had mine for three years ,along with several others, No problems!! This is a good "fair weather" tent not intended for extreme weather. Floor gets wet in rain and the tent does not vent well. Gets really hot in summer. I am 6 feet tall. It works well and doesn't break the bank. Fits motorcycle camping to a tee.

Firstly, this tent is very cheap and that's why I bought it; I needed a tent to use just once for a couple of days, and this definately fit the bill. Unfortunately, you do get what you pay for. Even when following the instructions my tent didn't look like the picture, and because it doesn't have any supporting poles for the roof that always sagged down and got my stuff wet. I'm quite big though and the tent was large enough in terms of width and length, but again there was a problem with height- even at the tallest end I couldn't sit upright. Overall, this tent was OK. On the plus side it is very cheap, lightweight and compact to carry, and probably big enough on the inside for most people. However, the tent is very limited in terms of height due to a poor design.

The tent size is what you would expect for a single use/biking tent. But the rear pole does not stay up and you have to use extra rope to keep the tent up.
