I saw the same stools on another website for $50 more. The only difficulty in putting them together was the foot rail ends not going easily into the slots. One isn't quite all the way in, but it's not noticeable. One of the screwholes for the foot rail on one wasn't lined up & my husband had to re-drill it. They look great & the seats are very firm & comfortable. They look great w/the maple of my kitchen bar counter. Well worth the effort to put together.

The stools are a perfect match for light cherry cabinets. They are very sturdy and attractive. After a tireless search for two kitchen barstools, I quickly found that you either spent $100 per stool for little quality or $300-500 for a high quality. These $80 stools greatly exceed their value. I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase.

This chair looks more beautiful than the photo. The row of round cut outs is very art deco. The seat is a soft beige brushed faux suede and very comfortable. This item had to be assembled and except for one thing, all went well. The four large bolts for the seat are huge, and at first I thought there had been a mistake with their size. I was afraid that screwing them in would crack the wood but it didn't. It also took my finacee's strength to tighten them and I'm no weakling!
