My daughter loves it!, 09/04/2008

My husband and I looked at all the kitchen sets when we bought this one. I thought it was kind of expensive but I am so glad we bought it for my daughter last Christmas. There has not been one day since we bought it, 9 1/2 months ago, that my daughter has not played in it. It is well worth the money when you get that kind of enjoyment out of it. On the down side, it could have come with more storage and my husband did not like the assembly because the holes were not predrilled. He still thinks it was worth it because our daughter loves it.

This is the greatest thing I've ever bought for my child. My husband & I got it for our dautgher for her 2nd birthday. When she gets up in the morning that's the first thing she asks for "Play in kitchen?".
The only down side was that it needs alot of batteries but we figured rechargable ones would work best.

I promised myself I would write an honest review... I read every review before buying a kitchen so this is my way to give back! I am a stay at home mom so this was a big purchase for us... but I have to say that I love it! The kids (2 and 1) both play with this for hours everyday. They love that they can serve each other and mama and dada at the counter area. The stove, microwave and phone make realistic sounds and it comes with more than enough play food, plates, spices, pots pans... you name it. We did get a little bin to hold it all in as well as an extra stool so they can both sit down to their pretend creations. It does take some time to set up but it is very well made and I expect will hold up very well. 6 months in and no complaints!

My twin 2-year-olds love this kitchen! It is big enough for both of them to fit inside, or they take turns "cooking" while the other sits on the stool and waits for their "food." I like this kitchen because it came with food and dishes. I feel like it's a great value. Great for teaching concepts, vocabulary, and turn-taking!

I have 2 yr old twin girls and they absolutely love their new kitchen. It comes with so much stuff for them to play with, food, pots, pans, plates, the list goes on and on. They can be in the worst mood and i can say let's go play in the kitchen and their moods change instantly and they go running. It's a great way to help teach them different foods and colors. It took me about 2 hrs to put it together but that was with one of the girls trying to help me. So i was stopping every 5 seconds to get the drill and stickers from her. Over all this was a great buy i would buy it again in a heart beat. The directions were super easy to follow. Most of the holes weren't predrilled but there was a dip where it tells you to drill so you kinda know the right spot to drill.

I wanted a big kitchen my two youngest kids could play in together.... and that is exactly what I got. My older children even play in it with them too. It is large so make sure you have enough room for it. I am very satisfied with it and would recommend it to others.

I purchased this product for my daycare. The children love it. It keeps the children busy for hours. It did look bigger online, but still worth the money. I had it shipped from site to store and it arrived really fast. Loved that I didn't have to pay shipping.

This kitchen is just right for my kids. It's not too big nor too, small for them. My kids love to invite their friends over all the time to play with them. Its great for role playing. There's not alot of room to store all of the items, but the Grand Walk-in kitchen is easy to assemble. Me and my kids really enjoy it!!!

this kitchen is very very cute, it was easy to put together, and doesnt really take up as much space as I was afraid it would. There's no need to buy extra play foods or anything, becuase it comes loaded-actually, there's barely enough space to store the stuff!. I would recommend this kitchen to any girl or boy, as it isn't pink or too girlie.

My daughter loves playing in her new kitchen! The only issue was that she is under 2 and the kitchen comes with a metal bowl and large metal spoons, it also does not have enough room to hold all of the little pieces that come with it. Easy to assemble!

Both my son and nephew enjoy pretend cooking & they have had a blast with this since Christmas. When you assemble the kitchen make sure you have the parts laid out. Instructions were easy to follow. A couple pieces you have to use some muscle to get the parts in place. But it's worth it when you see the smiles and the enjoyment the kids get out of this.

I love this kitchen my daughter could play all day and all night if i let her. Even when i give her real food she takes it over to her kitchen puts it in one of the little pans and since it makes noise she pretends to cook it, then she puts in one of the plates that came and she eats it.

My daughter is 20 months and we just gave her this kitchen for Christmas. She loves it. Of course, the food is everywhere, the drawer never stays where it goes, and the phone is always off the hook. But, the great thing about this kitchen is that she will grow into it. I can see her using it for at least a couple more years.
I was afraid that it would be hard to assemble, but my husband did it by himself in about an hour. He used a drill and this seemed to help. I didn't attach the stickers until it was all together and some of them were a little tricky. It might be easier to do before it is assembled, but the again, the pictures detailing where the stickers go show the finished product.

This item was purchased for my Grandaughter, she loves it! She is a busy 16 month old who is above average in her abilitiy. This kitchen will allow her to contiune playing with it for several years, the kitchen is durabale and has many features. The kitchen is BIG so a large space is needed. Small parts are included so be careful if your child puts things in her mouth, however I would recommend this product

My two youngest girls got this for Christmas and it was the best thing I could have bought for them!!!
They played with it until we made them go to bed that night. My youngest is 2 and my other is 6 and they cook for the whole family. My oldest daughter is 10 and she sits at the bar and they wait on her like a cafe. It is great to see them play and play together and having fun together!!

At first I thought I would regret buying this...a pain to put together (need power tool) holes are not predrilled. To many little food items with not enough storage for it all. Place setting for 2 with one stool. Fits 2, 2 year olds inside it great. After all the headaches of putting it together, it was worth it when my daughter started playing with it. She has every toy a little girl could dream of, and this is her favorite! Worth every penny seeing her very happy.
