I've only started using this like a week now but I FEEL the workout. (I hope that makes sense#. I read most of the reviews and I knew it would do wonders. I started with the Beginners #video# for Day 1 and went straight into Intermediate #video). The thingamajigs on the side were torturous to put on! But I managed! I did number 2! I hope the people see this review and buy it cause it is worth it!

I purchased this Abdonimal Trainer to begin exercising my abdominal muscles. I am a beginner with exercising and weight training and wanted something to use at home. I suffer from lower back problems and this helps with that. In addition, I have difficulty keeping my lower back on the floor and the roller pads help.
However, the Resistance Springs range from low, medium, and high strengths. I have started at the high level because the other two aren't firm at all. Yet, I do feel the effects in my core (100 crunches) a day, for six days. I feel I will probably see results within two to three months. Once I've achieved that, then I will move on to the gym and utilize more developed equipment.
This is good for beginners only.

The abrocket was not as advertised. A lesson learned is to not believe the ads. First, there wasn't a swivel seat. The back springs were so weak you might as well do sit ups. We will be more vigilant when buying on line.

I expected more support for my lower back. No matter how I sit on the seat the support is not there for me. I will continue to use the product. I did not feel I used the muscle group I needed. There was ,no "burn" or soreness the next day or week. Is that the way we tell if something is working?

The product does work, but definitely not worth the money. I feel the burn, but due to the handles, I feel a bit restricted. I am much happier with the ab lounger. It looks like a beach chair and you are raised off the ground.

Sorry, but this ab rocker just didn't work for me, as there was no significant ab exercise. It was just too weak. I returned the Ab Rocker, and replaced it with another Ab machine from a Walmart store that does work.

Good for smaller person less than 160 lb since this chair is small sized so your butt must fit in in order to exercise. Getting tired to do so every day but no result for me after couple weeks. Someone else may get a good result. So this is for someone and not for someone else. Maybe all we need is a good training video CD. Good luck to anyone bought it and hope you see the result in 90 days.

The Ab-Rocket was supposed to provide resistance while pushing backwards and help you to sit up again as I understood it. Using even the strongest springs for most resistance, it takes virtually no effort to push it down to the floor and helps very little or not at all to pull you back up. Might as well get a sit-ups bar to hook under a door, and an exercise mat, for much less money, and do good, old-fashioned sit-ups. This useless piece of equipment is now sitting in my storage unit until I can remember to pull it out for somebody's rummage sale. Wish I had the wasted money back to spend on something that actually works!

The back of the Ab Rocket is not tall enough. I am only 5ft. 5in. and no matter how I try to fit myself on it, my head hangs off the top of the back. Also, the strongest springs included with it are not strong enough. Very loose feeling. Not nearly the spring in them to help bring the back up as it looks and is advertised on TV. The arms are also loose,even though they are clicked into place as they are supposed to be; and the whole thing wobbles on the floor when using it to exercise. It's a good-idea item, just not up to the par that it should be.

The 3 Resistance Springs are in fact the same there is no real low, middle and high, you don't really feel any effect on your ab. Not a good buy for this price.

One of my friends a woman age 65 had purchased this product and I tried it at her home. She’s got neck and back problems and after using it she said her back feels so much better. Before ab roller, I’ve done crunches and incorrectly which put strain on my neck and back. I purchased this product recently and when it arrived it was nearly completed except for small parts and was easy to assemble. I’m short and used the second to the lowest head setting. It’s comfortable and doesn’t strain my neck and back when I do the exercises. There are 3 sets of resistance stretch weights. No more strain on my back and neck since using this product and worth every penny.

I just started using it,but so far it's doing what I expected it to do.Now the thing is for ME to keep doing...But it was easy to assemble and it was cheaper here than on the actual product website,so I'd say its a win-win.And yes you will feel the burn!!

I saw this thing on tv and I just thought, there they go telling us lies again! Then I just forgot about it. Then a few months ago I had a lot of money in my pocket, and I decided, why not buy myself exercise equipment. I go to my default store-Walmart-and search for exercising equipment and this thing comes up(the Ab Rock). I go, Okay, I will order it but will probably return it. The thing comes-assembling it is as easy as easy scrabled eggs (my favourite breakfast). Then I try it-WOW! This thing is amazing. Definitely I have to keep it! I could never do crunches on my own! I have been using it every day twice a day since I got it and already my tummy is disappearing inward! I know something great has happened to my body because my friends came to my house and remarked that my stomach is flatter than usual. So I showed them the Ab Rock and how it works and they were so impressed they said they were going to order. This thing makes exercising so enjoyable yet still efective. Great piece of equipment, a must have for anyone who wants to keep fit.

The jury is still out on this one. I haven't had it for very long....but what I will say is that some of the reviews regarding the comfort of the Rocket were spot on. It's not very comfortable and most definitely the tension coils do not offer a lot of resistance. But when I think about it...you don't want a whole lot of resistance or you probably wouldn't even be able to go up and down but at the same time you don't want to be able to go up and down so easily either. I'm not going to give up on it, but at the moment I'm beginnng to think that most of the negative reviews were fairly accurate. I do feel some tightness in my abs after using it but I have to stay on it for quite some time to feel anything. At least 15 minutes or more then I start to feel it. Definitely not after 3 minutes as advertised. We'll see.

This product works well. My aunt has one and I did a 100 situps on it last week and I can still feel my stomach hurt when I flex it. I like how it rolls up and down because it supports me. My aunt has lost a tremendous amount of weight while using this product. She doesn't even look the same that she did and it only took her 3 months! I already told my dad to get one for Christmas because I love it so much I want my own! I want to see great results like my aunt and look good!
