I miss the old Anita Blake Vampire Hunter. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the new ones as well, but I miss her (Anita) being a detective like in the first few books. I want to see more about Jean Claude and Asher. This one was more about Jason, which is not bad, I like Jason and wanted to know more about his life, but I want a combination of her newest books along with the old.

I have been a LKH reader and fan for almost 10 years and she never ceases to amaze me. Always new developments in every story that make you crave the next one and hate the wait for the next book to come out. I read this in less than a day and I am not a very fast reader. I just didn't want to put it down, and have since read it a second time. I love how vividly she describe scenes often to the point that I can actually see it in my mind almost like watching a movie. I have never been disappointed with her novels Just hate the wait for the next one. lol

Love Laurells books so had to get this one as well. I would recommend this book if you have read the other Anita Blake books. If not you might be a little lost. Great book over all and can't wait for the next in the series.

this is a good book but it is not quite up to Ms Hamiltions normal great tale telling.

this is the 16th book in the Anita Blake series and Laurell K Hamilton has done it again. I was hooked from the first chapter tothe last. It answered quite a few questions about a favorite character and at the same time brought up 100 more about the way the power of the main characters in the series. I recomend reading the ANITA BLAKE series. you just cant go wrong
