The patented 3,584-nozzle print head can produce a 4" x 6" photo with resolution up to 9600 x 2400 dpi in approximately 35 seconds. You can preview images on the large 3.5" color LCD and print photos directly from compatible memory cards without using a computer. Optical scan resolution is 4800 x 9600 dpi and black copies print at up to 30 pages per minute. Other highlights include a seven-color ink system, convenient scroll wheel for editing, Auto Image Fix for improved photos, two-sided printing and a USB 2.0 port. Compatible with both Windows and Mac computers.

This printer has exceeded my expectations by far! It was very easy to set up and the software is VERY user friendly, I was able to print within 10 minutes of setup. I was worried at first that it would be complicated to arrange photos for printing and still conserve paper, but the software is setup to do just that. Perfect! single color print cartridges are the way to go as they produce excellent quality photos. Fax, scan, and copy modes were just as easy to navigate. This machine is a good choice for anyone in the all-in-one market. The contemporary look of the machine is an added bonus too!

I have used them all, HP, Epson, Lexmark, but non of them can compare to this printer. The picture quality for borderless 4 x 6 is equal too or better than store quality photos. Copy quality is as close to perfect as can be expected. The scanning is almost exact and the software for quality improvement, format changes, is easy to use. I can't comment on how long the cartridges will last but I'm sure it is equal to the other manufacturers. The film/slide scanning application is another reason I purchased this machine. It is slow but that was expected and to bring old slides back to life has been exceptional. I have already recommended this machine to three others.

WOW!!! This printer has INCREDIBLE QUALITY for priinting photos!!! I used to have a Brother all-in-one that broke down after 3 years of use, so I decided to get a new one instead of fixing that one. This Canon is one-thousand times better in print quality. It takes 7 different cartridges instead of just 4... that makes the difference in the quality. No need to pay for a nice photo-quality digital print at walmart or walgreens...you can print them all on this Canon with SUPERB QUALITY!!! I love my new printer more than my husband loves his new HD big screen TV! This printer is well worth the extra money for the printer and for all 7 cartridges if you are getting it mainly for printing photos. If you don't care about photo quality, then I suggest you buy something less expensive.

I have owned many printers-this one by far is the best. The color pages print at Laser speed. The print quality is excellent. I could have purchased this product for the same price elsewhere with free shipping but opted to go with Walmart as a trusted source. Shipping was less then 13.00 and they said I'd get it in three days. I ordered on Thursday afternoon around 1 pm and it was at my door Friday morning at 9 AM ! I was shocked! It hooked right up and XP Pro immediately recognized and installed it for me. It is without a doubt the best printer I could have found for any money.

East to install, this unit does it all. I especially like the multiple tanks. I had a Canon originally and it was more economical to replace one color as needed. Ease of scanning and printing good. Not so good at changing the magnify or shrink when copying. Instructions are vague. Photo editing very bad. Use Adobe or PictureIt. Delete the program on Canon's disc.

For years I have wanted to purchase a good quality photo printer. One that truly printed the colors exactly how I saw my picture through the viewing window of my camera. I found it! I am extremely pleased with this Canon printers beautiful quality and features. I love to read up about good quality products that will last for years and Consumer Reports rated this excellent. I love the fact that I can print/print amazing photos/copy/and scan! I am thankful that Walmart had this in stock and at a competitive price without having to deal with any rebates to get a bargain!
