All is well with the Mason jars.
The only problem is the web site clearly stated they were not available in stores.
Shortly after ordering these I found them in my local store.
I could have paid much less had I shopped locally vice on line and returned some profits to the local economy.

Ball canning jars speak for themselves! Anything from Ball is top-quality. Wal-Mart takes a great product and makes it even better by selling it at a phenomenally great price with low shipping costs. What can I say. These jars have been around since my grandmother was a child, and I am a grandfather. If you are canning, the jar to have is the wide mouth 1 qt. jar and these are it. Walmart had about the median price, but had free ship to store.

Trusty, good ol' Ball Mason Jars serve their purpose nicely. I really like the wide mouth jars as they make filling them easy with less mess. I made 10 quarts of my Christmas Clam Chowder and 12 quarts of my Sweet Italian Suasage & Mushroom Pasta Sauce, (aka: Gary's Mamma's Pasta Suace - my son's favorite,) to give as holiday gifts this Christmas and the jars were perfect. I even shipped in them with careful packaging and everyone was very pleased with these special gifts, all made with the most important ingredient of all... LOVE. :-)
