I researched both all-in-ones and digital cameras and my final choices were going to be Canon's. I originally went for the newer model of this camera, but when I saw this one bundled with the all-in-one, I went with it instead. I am a moderate all-in-one user and mostly use it to print out homework and print photos of the kids, and the photo quality is surprisingly nice. My untrained eye can't tell the difference between the printer and a dark room.

I'm not tech. "savvy" but I jammed it together and have already printed several great shots of hummingbirds feeding no less. Of course I used the 16X zoom but the prints are just fine on the 4" X 6" photo glossy paper they include. I'm happy.

This is a great value. For the price, you just can't beat it. The printer works great with Win XP home using the software CD and google's pacasa2 software. I can scan right from within pacasa. There is no fax on this "all in one" printer, but that's okay. The color sanner and printer work just fine. The LCD is a nice touch and allows you to print right from the memory card. Also, when connected to the PC, the card reader in the printer also also allows you to copy photos to the PC, so no extra card reader is necessary. As for the camera, the image quality is great and it has more features then a beginner would ever need. I purchased this for my friend, but as a professional photographer and computer guy, I would say that the only down side to this product is the build quality. The printer feels like cheap plastic and is not solid feeling. The camera feels better, and is really not bad for the price, but I'm used to the professional metal body cameras. I have a canon 870 IS and its got the same processor in the camera, same features and same image quality for $300 but the difference is that the body of the 870 camera feels heavy, strong and solid. I've already dropped the 870 on a cement ground from my pocket with no case, and it still works (just a minor scratch that you can hardly see). I'm not sure if the A570 (the one that comes with this printer) would have survived the same fall. So that's what the main difference is for the price. As for final quality of prints and photos, they are very good, and as good as a $300 camera and $150 ink jet printer.

First the camera I purchased with the bundle is the Canon 570IS. This camera is loaded with settings that an experienced photographer would enjoy using such as aperature settings and shutter speed settings. I prefer to use the Program setting which gives me control over some of the settings but will let the camera set the aperature and shutter speed. I use the vivid colors setting and Auto white balance. The pictures I have taken have gotten great compliments...I have printed some out using the included Canon Pixma MP470, both 4x6 and 8.5x11 and they have turned out with great quality!! Several people have commented on how great they look in the pictures! The camera and printer have a distinctive classy look and are very easy to use and I was able to start taking pictures and print them without having to know everything in the manuals. I am very pleased with this purchase

I had been looking to upgrade my curent digital camera and when I found the camera and printer bundled together, I was really intrigued. I checked out the features at the Canon site and was impressed with the features of both. I decided to get this bundle and keep the printer ready as a back-up to the one I have been usung for several years. I am LOVING my new camera, it is so easy to use and very fast. The results are outstanding and the software is easy to learn. I have used it so much more than my old camera...and I used the old one quite a bit. I have only had it a couple of weeks, so no problems have popped up as yet. I have had a 35mm Canon in the past and if this one is as good as that one was, I will be very happy. I will not be hooking up the printer until there is a need for it.

This package was great. The printer was much bigger than I thought it would be, but it prints great, the camera takes wonderful pictures, and it is easy to use. I think I may become a photographer as a second career......this makes it so easy.

This Canon digital camera bundle is wonderful! It has exceeded my expectations... I read up on the best digital camera to get from Consumer Reports and they said this one was it. It is soooo true! I love it and I have family members who are looking to purchase this bundle special too. Walmart needs to get more in their stores in Geneseo and Hornell. It is well worth the money and the photos are better than professional quality because I print on demand from my memory card and you don't need a computer to do so.... Thank you Canon!

The camera/printer combo is a good buy, but the camera isn't the greatest on the market. As long as there's no movement the pictures turn out fine, but the slightest movement will cause blurring.
