This is the first external hard drive I've ever purchased. I've been using it for the past two weeks or so. Basically, I was looking for a large dump drive for videos, programs, games. etc. This hard drive is pretty much what I needed. Next time, I'd like to shoot for the 1-TB model. Good stuff.

This Maxtor 250GBMAXTORLITE OneTouch 4 external hard drive is so easy to use, i.e. drag and drop for files AND programs, has plenty of storage, and gives options for automatic backup. It stands or lies flat. Better price on Walmart's 250GB than Staples 160GB.
No lost photos anymore!

This is a great product for a great price! The One Touch feature is great for instant backup. If physical size isn't a factor, this product is the way to go.
