Work great but needed Duct Tape,

I ordered the product and it arrived with the outer two boxes in excellent shape. The day I went to use it - I allowed for extra time after ready the comments of other pass buyers - and it inflated in no time. The problem was the right side upper corner was having trouble staying inflated. I lowered the whole unit on to its front and discovered 4 tears in the material. The tears are not lined up or in any pattern - I can not figure what caused them. When in doubt grab a roll of duct tape - I placed duct tape over each hole. Problem solved temporarely. Wal-Mart customer service has offered only $20 reduction in price for the defect.

I bought this to show backyard movies. To make it short, this product is HUGE, and does not stand on its own. It had two fans permanently attached to the screen, which much remain on for the screen to remain inflated. They are pretty loud, even at the distance you need to be sitting to properly see the screen (at least 10 feet away). The real problem is that the fans are not powerful enough to keep the screen inflated to a pressure that allows it to stand on its own. I had to tie it to two trees, not to keep it from blowing over (it was not windy at all), but to keep it held upright so it would not double over on itself. I wanted to like the product, as it is well made, and would be perfect for the summer, but it does not work.

Overall good product. However the fans are a little weak. Any wind stronger than 7-8 mph and your not watching this screen. When the wind blew about 10mph the top would bend down because of lack of air pressure from the fans. The anchor screws they supply aren't very good. Ended up using rocks instead. For the money though there is nothing better out there.

The screens worked great...except, one had a hole in it. I ordered these for our annual convention. Some quick Scotch Tape saved the week. They are a little noisy with two fans each running in a closed room, but they inflate quickly (unless there's a hole, or if the zippers aren't fully closed) and provide a GIANT viewing areas. Well worth the money.

We've used our screen for several weekend movie nights, and been very satisfied with it's performance. WalMart had the best price I've seen for this, and getting it delivered directly to a (somewhat) nearby store increased our savings even more. I've incorporated all the suggestions found here to make the setup easier and more reliable. I would suggest using tent stakes instead of the provided screw-in stakes, and tying a slipknot in the provided cables to batten the screen frame down quickly, easily and securely. We leave the screen unclipped from the lower half of the frame until showtime, as the wind usually picks up a bit right after sunset, but settles down shortly after. With the screen unclipped, the whole assembly becomes less of a "sail". At the end of the evening, we remove, roll and store the screen, then lay the frame down, unplug it and unzip around the two fans. If you let it just lie like this for 15 minutes or so, it will deflate enough on its own to allow for much easier storage. Our screen also had all the Gator clips installed backwards, and a couple of the clips are sewn to the screen just off of the target points where they should line up with the frame. I've considered removing them and re-sewing them correctly, but have been too lazy. Check out www.backyardtheatre.com for lots of great ideas and pictures of what others are doing for their own backyard theatres ( It's where I found out about the great price WalMart was offering this screen for!). This is absolutely a great product for the price, and with a projector and sound system it will allow you to re-create the outdoor/drive-in movie experience right in your own backyard. Don't forget the popcorn!

Ordered this for my parents back yard movie night with the grandkids. Took a little bit to get it set up and work out some of the kinks: We had trouble inflating it but after we called Grandpa out there he discovered that one of the zippers around the one fan was not zipped all the way shut. Once it was closed completely it inflated as it was supposed to. Then we started losing air on the other side and realized the fan had quit working. We discovered that the fans are connected together inside the screen and had become unplugged. Once they were connected again, it inflated properly and that was the end to our troubles.
We left it inflated all night long (you must keep it plugged in) and it was still standing tall by the next morning. We just didn't feel like taking it apart in the middle of the night.
The grandkids were in awe of our 'big screen' and it's big!! Came just below the second story windows of my parents home! Now that we have the 'kinks' worked out, the next time we set it up should go rather quickly.
It has been the talk amongst my friends and they all want to know where we got this big screen! Overall it was worth the money we paid and I think we'll enjoy it for many years to come.

This product is easy to inflate and can be put up with just one person. It has a nice big screen that can be seen from over 100 feet away easily.
Only two little negatives with mine. The screen itself was missing one of its clips and the zipper around one of the blowers is broken.
Even with those flaws, I love it.

This screen lived up to expectation. There are two recommendations I have: 1. Make the plug to the second fan a permanent connection as it came apart because it was too short. 2. Couple the screen with a storage bin as it will not go back into the bag it was shipped in.

A couple weeks after recieving the inflatable screen, I finally had the opportunity to use it. It's very simple to set up and take down, literally 15 - 30 minutes each, and I've only done it twice now. The screen seems pretty heavy duty, and as concerned as I was about the wrinkles, you really don't notice them while watching the movie. The inflatable frame (when I ordered I didn't realize the screen and frame were seperate, I thought it was all one unit) feels thin, and reminds me of parachute or hot air balloon material. Those are thin too, so I'm not too worried. It's like a giant balloon, so if you have high wind, that should be a consideration. For the price it's definitely a good value. We (and the neighbors) had a great time.

WE just purchased this screen 2 weeks ago and have used it 3 times already. Very easy to set up and take down. Around 20 min. One trick when you get it open the zipper to the fans and pull the plug out and electrical tape them together. Ours worked great the first time then it came unplugged the second time we were freaking out we had all the neighbors coming over for movie night and only one side was going up then I remembered reading a review on here about the plug coming unplugged, I reached in and that was it through some tape around it and good to go. The kids love it the neighbors love it obviously they get to watch movies and didnt pay for it. We purchased the epsonmate 55 and it is awsome the sound is pretty good actually but for outdoors we have a very big back yard and are on a golf course so there is a lot of room for the sound to go so we just plug in a yamaha sound bar we have and perfect great sound great picture. Dont waste your money on the more expensive screens not worth it at all. The screen does come out all wrinkeled but when the movie hits it you cant tell we can see only one line in the screen i was shocked actually we did try ironing the screen but the wrinkles wouldnt come out if anybody has a trick to that would be great to know. We also went and purchased from the art store one of those containers to roll up a poster in rather then folding the screen also another trick we learned from one of the reply's here great idea would highly recommend it just ask for the biggest one they have. JUST BUY IT YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED. THANK YOU TO ALL THE PEOPLE FOR TAKING THE TIME TO WRITE THE REVIEWS. IT HELPED US AND ALSO SAVED US A LOT OF MONEY BECAUSE WE ALMOST PURCHASED THE MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE SCREEN.

My family has absolutely loved this screen this summer! Some have complained that they can't get the screen back in the bag it came in. There are zippers around the bottom around the air motors that when you open those half way to let the air out faster, even, let it sit about 10 min. you will be able to fold it up and put it back in the bag. Haven't had a problem at all!

We love this movie screen. Warning though, when you first set the screen up, have an extra extension cord handy. The electrical cord connecting the two blowers was too short and kept disconnecting when the screen was upright. Just put in the extension cord and you are good to go. The screen inflates in minutes and on a clear night, the movies come out great. We just had 10 people sitting in the hot tub watching a movie. Now we can't wait for football season!

This is one of the best family night products I have seen. It gets EVERYONE out of the house! Even the neighbors stop by to check it out.
It is easy to set up in about 20min tops. It actually takes longer to put it away (about 30min if you are alone).
The screen does have creases in it from being folded but they do not seem to effect the picture at all. Be aware: you can only view from the FRONT! The screen is black on the rear preventing rear projection.
It is a bit difficult (NOT impossible) to put back into the bag, but once you do it a few times it gets easier. I suggest (as did someone else in another review), you put the blowers in first (1 on each side of the bag), then just stuff the rest of the blow-up in the center. You do NOT need to fold it. I would NOT put the screen back in the bag. I plan to find a tube at HomeDepot to roll the screen on for storage so as to minimize wrinkles.
The only problem I found with this screen is that one of the clips that holds the screen in place seems to have been located incorrectly pulling the corner in an odd way. Rather than return it I just loosened the strap to allow the screen to hang more naturally. There are 8 lines used to stabilize the screen 4 are long and 4 are short. It would have helped if they had marked them in some way. I put coloured tape on the ends of the longer lines to make it easier.
All-in-all this screen is well worth the price!

We bought this screen to have outdoor movie night with our neighbors and friends. We love it and so do our guests. We have only used it twice due to heat, but we're very excited about fall. Only downfall, wind and dampness from dew, use all the tiedown straps and keep in mind you may need to lay it out un-inflated in the garage overnight to feel confident that it's dry.
