My 9 year old had this product together within several hours and even I was quite impressed with the details. I do believe it was over-priced.

I bought this as a birthday present for my 8 year old nephew. It was perfect for a kid already totally into everything Lego and with a lot of experience putting Lego kits together. Definitely not for a beginner but if your child already has experience with putting together some fairly complicated Lego systems, get it. Otherwise, be prepared to sit there and help which might not be a bad thing - you'll just spend a lot of fun times together. One more thing - the only reason I rated this product 3 stars for Value is because Legos are always so expensive!

The police station has features that my son (9) adores...the bad guys can "break" out of jail! The parts were separated, so we let him build a bag a day. My son needed very little help, which was a plus.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the box. It was huge. I could see why Lego wanted $90. After my 13-year-old son put it together he is now using it as a police station or a rebel base. He has Lego Star Wars people.

My 10 yr old son got this for his birthday. The day he got it, he spent all day building the police station. He had a great time and could assemble it on his own. He will rebuild this set several times because as he says, "That was a blast!"

The Lego Police Station has so much detail. I was very impressed with it. I do feel that the Lego sets are outrageously priced!

I love the product, it's very detailed but a little pricy. This is not a product for children that are rough with their toys. I feel the floor (foundation) should be more sturdy or thicker. It's too flimsy. When you go to move it, things start to discounect and fall apart. My son became upset over trying to move the station when it started to come apart. We both love the detail and all the movable parts. My son loves the little people and the motorcycle seems to be his favorite. As long as the product is on a hard service (floor or board) it will stay together and it provides hours of fun and imagination. I would recommend this product because children use thier imagination and they are active particpants. It's better than TV or video games.

This LEGO kit was hard to find as a newer version is in most of the stores. But get this one if you can find it. It has lots more variations and creative options than the new "command station". It is the quality you expect from LEGO. True LEGO fanatics can re-create the whole things from the picture on the box, while younger kids can do it with an adult's help. The finished model makes a scene so detailed it can foster many creati;ve adventures!

This set is a bit too expensive, but a great set none the less! My 6 yr old son got it. He put it together, pretty much by himself, in about 3 days! The directions are detailed (as most sets are), the bags are numbered to correspond to the directions! Everything is very detailed-from the coffee pot in the office, to the handcuffs on the prisoner!! Would recommed this Set to anyone!

My kids begged me to get this set. I thought it was a little expensive and was wondering how long the excitement would last. I have to admit they were right - they love it and so do all their friends that come over and play with it. My kids loved putting it together and still love playing with it after 2 months of receiving it.

My son just turned 5 and the directions and pictures for this were easy enough for him to pick out the peices and hand them to me to build. It is now together with everthing from toilets in the cells to a coffee pot and computer in the station. GREAT BIRTHDAY PRESENT !!! I play as much as he does.

Lego City Police Headquarters is a wonderful value and the same HIGH quality you expect from LEGO. It was shipped to us in no time. It was a wonderful experience and easy on the POCKET BOOK! LEGO has out done itself once again. Allowing you to work on the Headquarters by sections. So the project doesn't overwhelm kids and poor Parents. This is highly reccommend to any kids 6 yrs on up!

My 6-yr old purchased this with his Walmart gift card and his 10-yr old brother helped him assemble everything. They both love it,and have managed to play with it nonstop for 3 weeks now. I thought they would get tired of it but have managed to combine it with other items and used it in different set-ups.
