My 4 year old son loves this. It is a fun project for he and his daddy to put together. He is too young to follow the picture instructions but this is a great way to have bonding time when the weather is inclement outside.

My son LOVES construction vehicles and lego, so this is the perfect set for him (4 yr). I ended up purchasing two sets so that we could make all of the vehicles at the same time. Walmart's price beats Amazon and Target by $10 - 20!!

Bought this for my 3yr old grandon's birthday---he likes to manipulate things with his hands. He does need a little help with it right now, but loves it---it keeps his interest and he gets satisfaction out of building stuff--and esp. likes these construction vehicles. It is also a good activity for him and Dad, or Uncle or Grandparents to do together---he is good at picking out the needed pieces. I can see him advancing soon to where he will be able to complete himself some of the projects.

I purchased this Lego set for my nephew's 4th birthday. I was concerned at first that it might be too difficult for him since it had 300 pieces, but his father assisted him and said it was just fine. My nephew was so excited when he built his first construction vehicle! Since this kit has 3 vehicles to build, I believe it's great for teaching a child to complete a task, one small piece at a time. Bravo for Legos!
