this is good for kids but I would not reccomend it for someone serious about basketball the backboard it flimsy and cheap not solid like other boards but it works for my kids they are younger and just want to shoot the ball! very easy assembly says in instructions 2 people but with the help of 2 saw horses I was able to assemble the backboard alone. honestly digging the hole deep enough (frost line) and pouring the concrete were the hardest parts. Hope this review is helpful to someone!

The goal was easy to assemble although the directions left a lot to be desired. If you dig their suggested hole you need the 6 bags (480 pounds) of concrete to back fill it. The goal is attrative and non-obtrusive, and it plays well.

Product is of high quality and easy to assemble, however you get what you pay for and the overall material is average. The goal is the size it says and is OK for beginning players. The pole material is well made but a little thin and will flex some when you are shooting long ones. If you are looking for a goal for beginners and are willing to change when the players get better and need a steady backboard or for the best LOW cost unit, then this is the unit for you.

For the $150 (appx), you cant beat it. I mean no its not as nice as the $1000 in-ground ones you can buy, but those definately arent 8x as nice either. Its decently sturdy, easy to assemble (my husband and I put it up ourselves) and its easy to adjust the height too. Our kids are 7 and 4 and our 7yr old LOVES it and its not too big at all for him.

Breakable Backboard,

The backboard arrived cracked, like a hammer had hit it. The box was so flimsy for such a large, awkward item, we had to use packing tape to hold it together for returning to the store. Backboard is acrylic, which cracks. Why even make a backboard that cracks? Definitely getting a polycarbonate backboard. We tried to get a backboard with a pole diameter that matched the pole already in our backyard; when we measured poles in the store, they were several inches smaller in diameter and not uniform from model to model , even though the one in our yard was the same brand. The quality of the new models is cheaper; lighter weight support poles and all-over lighter durability. All around disappointment.

Quality product but the directions are not very good. You have to kind of guess if the part is what the directions show. The product when put together is very good for the price. I was missing the decals for height but didn't need them. Just glad it wasn't one of the bolts or bars.

The directions for assembly are not very good, also it would be easier if the parts were labled either in the bag or on the items. It would cut set up time in half. Once it is it up though it seems to be great and my kids love it.

The product was great. Worked exactly as I pictured it would. The instructions that came with the product were very poor and incomplete. If I had not been familiar with the product, I don't believe I could have set the product up using the enclosed instructions. Other than that I am very pleased with the final result.

We have owned this product for a year and a delivery truck backed into it and we are buying another one just like it. This is a nice product for what we spent on it. It does take a couple of days to sink it into concrete but on windy days it does not blow over like the portable ones. Our girls just love it and with it being adjustable it works for any age. Best of all it is Made in the USA!

very bad instructions and engineering. contacted manufacture concerning the installation of the bottom pole assembly which was very misleading and confussing creating improper installation which left the basketball goal assembly 9 inches short of regulation level. also insrtuction manuel contained some miss prints as recognized also by the operator i was talking too. was told that they would look into modifing and correcting the assembly manuel for future customers to prevent improper installation to occur again. WHAT ABOUT ME NOW!got little to no cooperation on what they could do for my problem in this matter. told them NEVER AGAIN!!

Ok, after reading all the reviews of how it was broken when purchased Site 2 Store, I ordered anyways...well box was beat all up and had clerk open it and sure enough, backboard glass was cracked....sooo, got my refund and found one at a Walmart 45 miles away, borrowed a truck and drove to get it......great backboard, easy assembly...kids play with it everyday soooo, good product just be careful if you order Site 2 Store.....definitely recommend the product

This basketball hoop is an awesome deal for beginners however the instructions on how to assemble leave much to be desired. They are very confusing and some of the parts included do not even apply to assembly! We finally figured out the correct assembly and my family loves the finished product! We are out there everyday shooting hoops.

This basketball goal was very easy to put together (with 2 people), and seems to be a very good goal for the price. I was skeptical about choosing the lowest price goal, but it really has all of the features we wanted, a big backboard, adjustable height, and was easily assembled.
