I bought this for a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. Because when we were visiting my grandson in N.C. he had one and they had hours of entertainment while we visited and talked with adults. I think it is great. She will be very excited when she opens this gift.

I bought this item set as my children has a ps2 and a ps3 the set will hook up to both the ps2 and ps3 though you will need a ps3 disc for rock band to play it on ps3. but the rock band system will work on both. best thing ever, Excellent item.

I do not recomend this produst to anyone that has the newer playstation because it will not read. I went throw 3 of these and my playstation still will not read it. The funny part is that i put it in older playstation and it read it perfectly. So my only question is why does the makers of Rock Band continue to sell a product that they know will not read on the newer playstation. Or at least make a new copy that will read on the newer playstation.

My 12, 9 & 6 yr olds love this product. It wouldn't work on our old PS2 so I had to purchase a newer PS2. That was the only problem we had. My niece and nephew also love it.

We bought Rock Band after playing it at my family's while on vacation. We really love the game and our kids love it too, we all rock out together!
We have a playstation 2, so the only downer is that we cannot buy more songs, or create our rock band characters. That doesn't stop us from playing and lovin' it!

I bought this Rock Band set for my grandkids. They love it and even the 6 year old is having fun with it. It certainly teaches then hand and eye coordination. I hope it starts an interest in really playing music.

Bought for my son's b-day. The game would load, but would go to a black screen. I called the manufacturer of Rock Band and explained to them what was happening. They told me b/c there is so much information on these discs, the disc is a double layered disc and some of the older PS2's have problems reading the disc. She informed me to call Sony, since all of the game console manufacturers were aware of the problem. Sony replaced my son's PS2 with a new unit (for a small fee of $45, of course) so all in all, it took about a week before my son could actually play the game. The game itself is fun and entertaining and you have the option of playing alone or with two other people. My daughter and I have both played the game with my son and it's a blast!

I bought ROCKBAND for my daughter's birthdaY, & the whole family loves it. It's Game the whole family can get involed in & they will want to!!!! The playstation 3 is a little bit better because you can create your own avatars on there but that's the only diffrence.

We bought the Playstation Rockband for our 14 year old son and the quality of the Playstation Rockband is nothing like the X-box Rockband. We exchanged it and paid the extra cost. Walmart had an excellent price on the Playstation Rockband and that is why we decided to try it. The graphics were very blurry and fake looking. Thank you Walmart for allowing us to exchange this product even after it had been opened and played. I really love shopping at Walmart, we don't go anywhere else!!!
