Camco Camco RV Vent Cover
The Camco 40431 RV Roof Vent Cover is made from UV stabilized polypropylene plastic to ensure solid performance. This plastic vent cover allows easy circulation of air with its aerodynamic design. The vent covers can be easily mounted to your existing roof vents. The edges are rounded in such a way to reduce the drag force due to the movement of air. No tools are required to remove the louvers, so cleaning can be done with ease. Keeping your outdoor vent cover open lets in natural light. The installation of this plastic vent cover requires only two screws and can be accomplished easily.

very good price on a quality vent cover, all makes of these vent covers are translucent and so is my trailer Fantastic Fan lid, so to be a true sun block I have taped off the outside shell and applied a good coat of plastic paint to the inside, reduces the heat coming from the sun thru the translucent covers

There is no seal on the bottom. It sets 1/2 to 3/4 in up off the roof. I do not understand why they have a filter on it when it will not seal. But it is a strong bult vent. And you can not open your vent but only half way. But it is a good looking vent. Yes I will bye another one but I will be byeing some one inch foam tape to put under it as I did with the other one that I put on. Like I say it will not seal with out this.

This cover was easy to install on my cargo trailer. Cover is larger than you think, but you will only be able to open your vent about half way after installing. In order to center it over my vent, I opened the vent part-way, then centered the cover front to back as the vent pretty much kept it side to side. Just marked my holes, moved the cover off and drilled the holes for the brackets- took maybe 15 minutes, and that was with moving the ladder from side to side of the trailer.

Bought seven of these vent covers at walmart.com for the price of three at our local RV dealer. This morning we installed them on both our 5th wheel and our class-A rv's. Installation went without a hitch. Love the fact that you can leave your vents opened even when it's raining!!!
Highly recommended. These will add many years of life to our plastic vent doors. A++++

Install is very straightforward. Drill a few holes and bolt together. Simple enough. Tons of these on trailer roof tops. It has to be a great product. Walmart's price is good, too. Shipping was on time and pick up was easy, too.

I have installed a maxx air and I have now installed a camco rv roof vent . The only difference is the name and the price, except for the fact of the vents where you can actually take them apart and clean the screen. A very good chose for an rv person who wants to save the origanal vent cover.
