Nintendo Nintendo Zapper w/ Links Crossbow Training Wii
The Nintendo Wii Gun is the perfect accessory for playing various Wii games. It comes bundled with Links Crossbow Training that gives you enough practice to become a zapping pro and feel confident to play other titles like Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Ghost Squad and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. The Nintendo Wii zapper links crossbow training will take you confidently through dozens of fast paced stages of the game where you will be shooting stationary targets and even defending yourself from onrushing hordes of enemies. The zapper light gun requires both the Wii remote and Nunchuk which is enclosed in a single frame. The control stick on the Nunchuk guides player movements. Aiming with the zapper moves the targeting reticule whereas on pulling the trigger, Links crossbow is fired. This Wii game gun is ideal for people of all ages. You can sue it to play alone or with other people in the multiplayer mode.

Zapper is good for arcade mode when all you have to do it pull the trigger and shoot. It's no good for campaign mode because you need the functionality of the remote and the zapper doesn't allow you to use the remote very well - it's clunkly and awkard. You'll end up just using the remote and nunchuck to get through campaign modes.
value is average. $20 for a piece of plastic is a bit much but it's not walmart's fault. they have the cheapest zapper out there.
meets expecations - no because it's useless in campaign modes. nintendo has not come up with a good gun solution for the wii.
walmart - was outstanding. from shipping to service.

I must say I was impressed, I needed, wanted, a gun for a few games my friend and I are planning to play using the web features on our Wii's. I bought this gun expecting just that, a gun. I got a game that came with it and it was pretty fun and let me get used to the feel of the g un. It wraps up the controller very well and hides the cord cleanly. I haven't tried the pistol version but so far the riffle is very acceptable. Looks like the game with it will play over the net too, looking forward to trying it out!

The product came in very good condition. Was well packed. Nothing broken. Until I tried to play the game. The software wouldn't load. Software is now on it's way back to Nintendo. Will take 2-3 weeks before I get software back to see how the Zapper and software work or not.

We find this game to be fun and very addicting. Our 6 year old grandson is awesome at it and non-gamers can enjoy it as well. I think it is well suited for most people.

Getting used to

Well I've had this product for about 2 weeks. At first I thought I made a terrible decision in getting it since it was difficult. I used it to play Black Ops and the game included. It definetly takes time getting used to. After a couple of weeks it should be easy. I recommend people who play first person shooter to get one. Funny how I got this for my husband but he sticks to his controller. I also shoot with my right. Sometimes you gotta switch hand usage like right hand trigger or left hand trigger Because you'll notice you have more stability with one over the other. Plus check what your most comfortable with. I'm right handed and shoot with my right, Not sure ifm that would be helpful.

Wife and I have fun with this. It's a bit interesting using it and all. We can't say we are the best at using it but it's fun to try!
We like it, however for Wii CoD4, it is not the best, course I am older and slower!! lol!

I bought this game for my father in law as he played ours and loved it. He plays it almost everyday and has so much fun do so. He looks and acts like a kid in a candy store and like I said it's my Father in law..LOL I would definitely recommend this game to anyone, it's tons of fun to watch and play!
