The Gold Special Edition Nintendo DS is the only reason why i even Bought a Nintendo DS in the first place. i would definably recommend this to others as a great gift, a great buy. and a great investment for adult gamers that plan to take care of their electronics =)

The Nintendo DS Lite system arrived quickly and my family loved getting it as a christmas gift !! The battery doesnt last that long but it is easily recharged with the ac adapter included in the package..It is a hit with our family..

I was in doubt during my holiday shopping. All pink NintendoDS were gone. So I chose this one. No regrets so far. Game is utilizing stylus, and even sometimes microphone! Da best. I'm hoping to get some educational games on it.

I love my new nintendo ds. I have a game boy advance system also and I definately like the ds better. My all time favorite game to on ds is mario bros. I would definately recommend.

My son (13 yrs) received this DS (his 1st). He only has the Zelda game that came with it. WE spend hours playing on it & have lots of fun. Gives us something to talk & laugh about too. Value 3 stars because these could be cheaper. Only complaint I have is with the Stylis (sp? (pointer thing)). You get two and we are already on the second, so we'll have to find out about purchasing more. First one fell apart & started scratching up screen. I recommend the Zelda game to kids 10 & above. Under 10 may have a hard time with tasks & clues.

I bought this for my 10 yr old granddaughter. The price of the Nintendo was the same as all the other stores, but with Zelda included, it was a bargain. The gold really doesn't look gold on the case. Both of my granddaughters have the Nintendo DS now and they communicate with each others Nintendo by writing messages and sharing games. They absolutely love it. They both had Game Boys in the past, but Nintendo seems to be better.

I'm not really a video game person, but I'd heard a lot about the DS, and especially the bundle with The Phantom Hourglass, so I bought it. The system is easy to use and the stylus is really handy. Playing it is a good way to relax for an hour or so a day. The only con I found was that my hand would cramp from holding the stylus after a time, a problem I know Nintendo tried to rectify by making the stylus slightly bigger from the older generation DS. While this does force you to take a break every so often, I don't see it as a major problem.

Each of my kids were getting one for Christmas so why not me, right? I figured I'd use BrainAge & BrainAge 2 on mine & not have to borrow from one of the kids. It's Addicting!!!! They are so much more than single game players too. You can have multiple people, each with their own DS lite, playing a game together. It's great fun. Also, multiple users, I think up to 16, can sign in to "chat rooms". Great for the kids in the car when they want to "text" each other. It'll be all quiet in the back seat and then they'll just bust out laughing. Only negative thing, the game chips are so small and they are very easy to lose. Also put your name on them in case they get left at a friends house or something.

My kids each have a DS now. It is a great product and keeps them very occupied. It seems to be good quality. I am personally not into a lot of gaming for my kids, but it is something that I am ok with in moderation and on car trips.

Oh I was so excited to get this product, and was almost afraid at the same time. I know people who have bought a DS and I knew my boyfriend was a HUGE Zelda fan (still at age 24). There is one downer to the DS, most of their games are targeted for a younger age group, which I wish I would have known prior to getting the DS, but he still LOVED it and has found a few games that he enjoys. The price is perfect for the bundle, and this was the cheapest price I could find for it. Overall, this is a very nice gift.

I purchased this for my 6 yr old son for Christmas '07 but I play it as much as him. The Zelda game with it is a little too hard for him but we purchased Mario Brothers and he loves it. My husband wants one and so do I. BTW we purchased a Wii for Christmas too but play the Nintendo more because of the Mario Brothers game.

This bundle is probably the best one for the DS. The golden color is very nice, and it also has a nice shine. The Zelda game is very fun and addictive, and is a great game for people just starting to use the DS. If this bundle is still available it is a must buy.

We gave this DS Lite to our son for Xmas and it was his favorite gift! Not only because it was a new DS Lite, but because of the Zelda emblem on the DS. Apparently Zelda is the big thing (game) now and he is the only one in his crowd that has one of these. This also came with a game which he loves as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a DS Lite for a boy.
