I found the Garmin nuvi 200W very easy to use from the get go. A little common sense and follow the prompts and it was a quick and easy programming. If I can do it anybody can. The wide screen makes it easy to read when driving. So far I love it and gives me peace of mind when I'm in the cities that I CAN'T get lost. Thanks

I brought this for my husband for his birthday and he loved it! He loved it so much that he didn't want anything for his birthday! he also wanted to get me one too!!! it's great easy, quick set up; if you can read then you can operate this gps...very is easy to operate and the voice directions are great! You set it and don't have to take yuor eyes off the road!

Bought the Garmin 200W as a replacement for a Garmin 550C that was stolen out of my car. I did not use the antitheft feature :-(.
I like the wide screen and the size better than the 550C. It has plenty of features.

This is a great GPS . It has helped me so much and I am taking it on vacation next week. The only downfall is it mislead me to two restaurants that no longer exists. Sometimes it also seems like it sticks on an old location that you where at before instead of updating to your current location and giving directions from that point. I am assuming that once I download the updates it will delete old stuff. Also when UPS or whatever company delivered the GPS to my front step it was supposed to be a signature delivery but no one was home. They just left it there so I was upset that someone could have stolen it.

I am directionally challenged and needed a product like the Nuvi200W. The screen display is large and easy to view, the voice is pleasant to listen to when it calls out directions and the unit is easy to operate. I hope to use it for many years as long as map updates are available. I found the manual hard to understand and very basic in nature, but the unit is more than easy enough to figure out. I do find it takes several minutes to acquire satellites, but once acquired, it seems rock solid. I would recommend this unit for basic navigation needs since it does not have any extra features.

The wide screen is great and allows you to 'see' what is all around you. The Nuvi 200W works really good and haven't had any major problems with it. Did have an upgrade problem after receiving the unit. Needed to call tech support to get through issue (also read about the known concern online).
Maps are pretty accurate and up-to-date. Found a few spots that things have changed, but overall maps are very accurate and reliable.
Don't think saying the street names (higher models) would necessarily be beneficial. Just stating turn right or left - works great!! Would highly recommend purchasing unit.

Good value, does what I expected a navigation tool to do. Excellent tech support from garmin (did some updating of software and maps for free). Routes do not take into consideration the terrain you will be driving through so keep that in mind.

I love my Garmin! We travel a lot in the summers and this helps tremendously in finding our hotels, food, and the places we need to get to while out of town. It is very easy to use also!

Gets me everywhere I asked to guide me, a real boon to traveling with more POI's than I could ever use. Operators manual is almost worthless but the GPS is so simple to use, it took me 20 min to work it like a pro. I may never use a map again. The larger screen is a must for our 60+ year old eyes. touch screen is easy, auto light level great. We've traveled all over AZ from rural to metropolitain with great results and accurate directions.

I would recommend this product for anyone who is looking for a non-permanently installed GPS for their vehicle. It is so easy to use and guides you turn by turn with clear and concise directions. Walmart's price was the best and even offered a longer warranty for less money than a close competitor.

Product doesn't come with home charger and you can't order one from the site unless you have the USB adapter to connect online and set up the account. The USB doesn't come with it - naturally that's another charge.
Seems like a good product for the money, but not really good for country driving.

We used the Garmin on a 2,000 miles vacation trip locating 3 to 6 different addresses each day. It had one instance where it could not find the address; it was on a county road that did not even show on the map when we finally located the spot. We were looking for a specific golf course in Tennessee.
