Wedding Registery- items not to be gift wrapped

I recently bought two items from a Wedding Registry for my niece who lives in Nebraska. I had hoped that I could have Walmart send the items directly to her so I would not have to take the gifts along with us. For whatever reason, neither of the items I picked off of her registry could be gift wrapped nor could a card and/or message be sent to her along with the gifts. How ridiculous is that. So I had the items shipped to me like they would have been received by them. The dishes were in a box as if they were shipped directly from the manufacturer. When other companies provide a registry, they ship it in a nice way so it can look like a gift. I will not be buying from a Walmart gift registry again for this reason.

I just received my dishes, so cannot speak as to durability. As to attractiveness, they are beautiful. They fit in my standard size kitchen cabinets and in my dishwasher perfectly. They are a little heavy. But they look just as I expected and I am very pleased. The site to store experience was excellent.

Great design, great price, I have had them for a few years now and they are still in great shape. A huge plus, at least for me, is that these dishes are oven proof; we used to have stoneware that would burn your hand if you microwaved it for more than 30 seconds, not with these! They are great for everyday use as well as family get togethers. I often get compliments about them and people are shocked that they came from Walmart. I absolutely love them!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these! I bought two sets, and may buy another. Substantial, contemporary at a great price. Using every day, makes the day feel special. Am anxious to use for specail occassions, too. The white goes with anything for any season. Wash very well in dishwasher. Used Ship to Store.

I bought this product about a year ago and began using it about 6 mos. ago. in the last 6 mos i have lost a dinner plate to "less than one minute in the microwave" and one salad plate to dishwasher cleaning. I lifted the plate up and seen the insciption that it is suppose to be even "oven proof" up to a certain degrees, I don't think so !!! I am very disappointed and of course no longer have the receipt. what a waste of money - i also gave away my old dishes since i had new and now can't even serve a 4 guest meal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These dishes are very classy. Like them a lot, but they are very heavy. We already chipped one large dish on one corner because it was dropped in the sink. Need to be very careful. Seen many in different places, these are much nicer.

My mom just got me this set and the quality does not seem cheap at all. They are absolutely gorgeous and look amazing with a bright place mat with matching napkins it looks just so beautiful. Durability cant say much since i just got them today but they do look very tough and not cheap at all am so excited cant wait to decorate the dining room. The white is absolutely beautiful and classy and the best part you can switch up colors and not have to worry about buying a new set it will always look amazing, it feels like i snatched it out of a magazine or an HGTV episode absolutely gorgeous!

I purchased these plates back in 2009 and still use them. They were purchased for my first apartment and now I am married and they still look as good as they did the first day we bought them. I have replaced 2 plates because of them getting dropped and broken but that was my fault. I love these dishes!!

Great set of dishes. Great price!! The reason I rated this product so high, however, is because the "ship to store" option is so convenient. I had not ordered using this option before and was skeptical, but the savings on the dishes was almost half off--only if I used the "ship to store" option. They sent me a text and an email when my product arrived. I went to the store and was in and out in moments.
