I love this booster! It is wonderful! It looks clean and is easy to use and very solid built! My only problem I found was that my 3 year old fell a sleep and had an accident in it, he wet his pants, and so I had to wash the cover...It says safe to wash in the washer on gentle but I washed it in the washer on hand wash cycle which is even more gentle than recommended and the padding got all bunched up and I had to cut the back of it to lay it flat again. I had had it for less than a week so I called the manifacture and they said they would send me a new cover for it free of charge...I got a phone call back from them a few days later saying they did not have that color anymore(Aurora) but would send me one of 2 other colors that I choose...they were very easy to work with I didn't have to pay a thing for the new seat cover and the seat is still the best booster I have ever used(and I have had 5 children so I have used a few)My sons head doesn't flop over when he falls asleep...many height adjustments for the back...easy for my son to buckle his self up..I love it! I truly can not say enough good things about this booster...only flaw, hand wash the seat covers if you need to wash them and not machine wash as it states is ok to do...other than that....PERFECT!

This is the first booster I have bought. My oldest just turned three. I checked many reviews ... including consumer reports. This booster had the best all around reviews. My son loves the comfort of the extra padding and it fits him like a glove. I love that you can adjust the height ... not by the headrest but by the base. It also folds, is light, and has a carrying handle. What a great design. I ended up buying three of these boosters. Great booster at a great price.

It was tough deciding which seat to purchase when my daughter outgrew her toddler seat, but this one fit the bill perfectly! We bought the giraffe print one for my car, then my husband liked it so much he asked me to order one for his car, even though my daughter had not grown out that particular toddler seat yet (I bought him the one pictured here).
We're all thrilled with it, including my daughter. I'd definitely recommend this seat to anyone.
And boy, is Walmart quick with their shipments! I got both of my seats before they were estimated to arrive! Kudos to Walmart.com!

I really like this booster carseat so far. I haven't had it for very long, so I can't comment on the durability. It is the only booster carseat that I have seen that fits in the 3rd row passenger side of my Honda Pilot. (The Pilot has a 60/40 split in the 3rd row and this is the only carseat I have seen that fits in the smaller side of the seat.) My regular carseats are Britax Marathons and I think they are excellent carseats, very much worth the money. But I wasn't sold on the Britax booster seat. They are probably excellent also, but I think that the Compass has alot of value for the price. Its pretty lightweight and it folds so it can easily be transported on an airplane or even left in the trunk of a car without taking up too much space. The moveable armrests are really nice, also. But the most important reason I picked this carseat is that it seemed to fit my son well. He's on the smaller side and he seemed to be well-restrained in the seat. The only drawback is that you have to pull really hard to get it unfolded (not a problem once you figure it out).

I researched booster seats for my 4 yr old son for several weeks before moving him out of his Eddie Bauer Convertible carseat. I knew I wanted EPS head support and for it to be extremely well padded with deep side wings for if he fell asleep. I also knew it had to stay as a one piece unit as seperating into two units was not as safe and convienent in transporting the booster from car to car. This booster seat is a little wider than the Graco Turbo booster which is a plus to me as it will give my son room to grow to age 8, and does not come apart at the waist which worried me about safety. I also was very concerned about the Graco and Evenflo boosters that adjusted and left a thin strip of plastic bare at the neck when adjusting the seat higher. The Compass stays completely covered by the thick padding and was a very highly rated booster seat as I am a RN in our NICU unit and safety is most important to me. I treat too many injured kids and refuse for mine to be one of them. The Compass booster seat came ready to use straight out of the box. The instructions are straight forward and care and cleaning is super easy. Truly an excellent booster seat. This is our first one. We have just ordered two more for our other two vehicles. Walmart.com was the best price with site to store shipping in two days. Can't beat the price for the excellent quality.

This booster seat is great! I had wanted a Compass booster because of the unique folding feature, but the prices I had seen other places were too high. Wal-Mart had the best price on one, plus free shipping to the store--What a deal! I'm very pleased with the construction, too. The $20-range boosters are flimsy; this one is very solid, and I really like that the side wings on the headrest are made from the same material that bicycle helmets are made from, adding extra protection for my precious little boy.
